Is Leo Ulloa still on his way out?

Heard reports on 100% LCFC that he still wants to leave for Brighton (Although 100% are as trustworthy as Theresa May) I still think he works harder than Salami and can score more goals too. Also who would we replace him with? Get Chris Wood back maybe?

Leeds want 25m or something daft for Wood.

I'm not sure if he works harder, but he takes about 30 minutes to run from one end of the pitch to the other and seems a bit of a drama queen with the whole refusing to play while happy to get the money thing. If reports are true that we gave him a 2 year contract I would laugh.

No need to replace Ulloa, Slimani is streets ahead and we only need one big lad up top. It's the deeper lying forward role we need to be addressing.

Will score more goals than Slimani, you're having a laugh surely.  Ulloa isn't anything near the aerial threat and has nowhere near the presence of Slimani.  Slimani is 20 times the player Ulloa is.  And I like Ulloa and wish him the best but come on.

And no, Chris Wood is not the answer.

He probably found out that there were teams not willing to pay him anywhere near what we were willing to pay him and signed an extension!

Leo has scored some very important goals for us and yes he works hard but I think for both parties concerned it's best he leaves, he'll only ever be a bit part player for us, as for Slim, for his high price I expect a real star player not a sick note.

Eh?They're all off until July!

Correct. But he was on compassionate leave before the end of the season, and continues to be on compassionate leave during the summer break

Disagree with that. Slimani is probably a better all round player, but certainly not 20 times better! Also don't think the aerial threat is much different between the 2 personally.

I like Leo but in all honesty, if we are serious about competing at the top end of the league consistently then he's not quite good enough imho. He's good at what he does but what he does is quite limited.

I can't blame him for wanting to move on. He is getting to his twilight years in football. Personally I think his link play is better than Slimani, but his finishing is probably a little worse.

People talk of comparisons, not many at the club with a bigger set of bollox than Leo.

Have you peeping in the showers at the KP?

Much stronger, holds the ball up, and poses more of an ariel threat around the box than Slimani, however I wouldn't say as clinical in front of goal. Wouldn't mind him staying, he was clearly told he can leave by Ranieri who back tracked on his decision, he made it quite clear his issue was with how the situation had been handled and not the club itself.

Ulloa needs to leave so he can play regularly as he's not going to play much for us. Hes been a good player for us but it would be better for both parties for him to move on. If someone offers a similar amount to what we paid for him then thats decent business. Slimani needs to get fit and prove he is worth the money we spent on him. He may want to leave though if another big offer comes in from China. Regardless of whether Slim stays or leaves, we shouldn't keep leo and should look for a longer term replacement

Think he got off lightly after publicly stating he'd never play for us again. Can you imagine the reaction if Riyad, Vards or Kasper did that? In a funny sort of way I think it probably tells you how expendable he is that a lot people have forgotten that even happened.
