I think he's a carbon copy of Mahrez. Some offensive skill, no defensive skill, no enough effort.

If spurs want him sell him.

Don't give up on him just yet, FIF. I'm sure in a couple of years we will be having a laugh about wanting him gone.

I had a change of heart and I'm rooting for gray now more than ever. I don't agree with your point about him being a bad defender. He may sometimes drift out of position but he puts the effort in and he isn't afraid of contact (like Mahrez is). Think with time he can be a quality prem starter.

I've no issues with people not rating Gray and thinks he isn't good enough. That's fine. That's, just like, your opinion, man.

What I can't fathom is the constant accusation that he's got an attitude and he's a problem child. Based on whst exactly? I'm fed up of this myth being passes around as a fact everytime the topic of Demarai Gray comes up.

Has Gray ever assaulted his girlfriend? No, Simpson has.

Has Gray ever thrown racial abuse at someone? No, Vardy has.

Has Gray ever said he will never play for the club again? No, Ulloa has.

Has Gray handed in a transfer request and whored himself out 2 windows in a row? No, Mahrez has.

Give this "attitude" thing a ****ing rest for once. Christ almighty, we have characters in the squad who have done worse things and they don't get half the abuse Gray gets. Ulloa got people wishing him well ffs, and he openly said he refuses to play for our greatest ever manager again.

It's true, though.

Call it hearsay but a mate of mine works in sponsorship and has had the displeasure of having to deal with the little pr*ck.

He just seems to have stagnated here but I can't say why.

I think we'll end up selling him and he'll come good somewhere else.

imo, playing time is like fire to iron. You can heat iron for a long time, but without a stern hand wielding the hammer and shaping the iron correctly (in this case, a suitable coach), the iron will never turn to steel.

Gray now is raw and needs the right coach to guide him.

Good point Foxy ! ...    a firm hand welding a hammer should knock him into shape ...    :)

And that believe it or not is my one and only post today cus I’m still in shock after watching that sh1te yesterday.

Gray is a quality talent. I just can't understand why people can't see his raw talent.

Under the right coach he would be very good.

Many talented players fail because of Attitude....Gray will fail to utilise his undoubted raw talent like many before......mixture of arrogance, too much too soon and not the sharpest unfortunately!

I do think some of it is the way Gray is being told to play/being coached...

I remember when he always used to try and take players on, yes he would lose the ball sometimes but at least he would try and have a go at players, like Diabaté does now

I can't remember the last time i saw Gray even try something like that, pretty much now will get the ball, turn back, and either play it back or play it inside.

Definitely think with the right coaching and manager who would basically "lets him loose" will get him playing well

I've only got one problem with Gray and yesterday summed it up.  For the 1st 2 goals one player could be seen wandering aimlessly back in the vague direction of where it was all happening.

He does it in every game I've seen him play.  He's not a defender but at least look as though you can be bothered.

Sorry seen it all before  Joachim, Kitson, Mattock to name a few.

“Right Demerai, you really don’t want to be aiming for the goal, every tom dick and Harry does that. What you really want to aim for is row Z”

To be fair the whole team seems to have stagnated. It's hard to stand out when no one else in the team can be bothered. He's part of the malaise not the cause of it.

A lot of what people are currently saying, was said about Zaha .... and Sterling. Players mature differently.

Sell and buy Zaha

Hahaha.. I'm sure Zaha can do slightly better for himself than coming here!

I can see him going to The Spuds!

Perhaps he should fvck off to West Ham then!!

Demarai Gray needs to puck off, players of his ilk like Theo Walcott, Aaron Lennon, SWP, Kieron Dyer, Jermaine Pennant etc are all the same all pace the odd trick and no end product, the sulking little plonker needs to shape up or puck off, never takes his chance when given it.

At first i was going to argue your first point but your right. Carbon copy he is. They are both cvnts just one is useful and ones useless.

Grayad Demahrez hasn't been useful for more than a combined 45 minutes in the last 2 seasons.

I'm sorry but you cannot tell me he's a good defender after that Crystal Palace game, you just can't. Look at goals 3 and 4 and tell me he puts in the effort.

It's a very well saying he's young but he's not progressing. He's been at this club for nearly 2.5 season and he's not improved. It says it all that Diabete comes in and makes more of an impression on the fans than Gray. I would be slightly lenient and say he's too inconsistent at this level, but he isn't. He's consistently disappointing.

The problem is he thinks he's better than he actually is. Anyone who touts about wanting to be called up for England has a poor attitude. His poor attitude led him to demand more first team football. Then when that was achieved a new contract. Then he scores a few goals, he thinks he should be in the England seniors. It's rubbish. He's lucky to be playing for Leicester. His level, right now, if for a team in the relegation zone or top-6 Championship; it has been for the past 2.5 seasons. There's no progression, no potential to make me think "ah, he could be alright". He's regressing
