I've had £10 on him to stay at 16's.

BELIEVE. :riyad:

Max of 10's now. I genuinely believe him going isn't as a fore gone conclusion as some think. Money will have to be right because our owners won't be bullied and he has a 4 year contract let's not forget.

With Ulloa signing a new deal perhaps he will be playing on the wing lol

Could you imagine? It would take him an entire half to get from one end of the pitch to the other.

He's been sitting in Paris all morning. He's going somewhere.

He doesn't know where yet though as the club has not accepted any offers and it's not at all clear that they will.

Best player I've ever seen live.

Even though he wanted to leave, he has started this season like the Mahrez who won us the title, and his attitude and work rate have been excellent. He's got no loyalties to stay with us, yet he gave us another season after winning the title. This boy is destined to play at  a huge club like Barcelona or Madrid, and you can't hate him for wanting to move.

We're not gonna be able to replace him because I genuinely believe there is no player like him outside of Messi and Neymar.

If he'd already signed for Chelsea he wouldn't be twiddling his thumbs in Paris airport.

Quite. But isn't he in a London hotel?

It's all bollox anyway.

I don't see why we should worry about keeping him to be honest, he's been sent home from international duty just to formalise a move.

The bloke doesn't want to be here AT ALL.

**** Mahrez. Get rid.

I'll miss him but he doesn't care about us anymore and isn't worth staying.

Just get a signing in who will give blood, sweat and tears for the shirt and let's get behind them.

We won't see another like Mahrez for a long time but it's pointless forcing him to be here.

Townsend or Matty Phillips off the top of my head.

He's in a London hotel at Paris Airport in Barcelona.

In the space of about 14 lines you have managed to sum up exactly why we should keep him while trying to do the opposite, well done.

His post was the most articulate argument for doing absolutely everything we can to keep Mahrez that I've read.

We should keep him because he doesn't want to be here?

He's literally willing to Sit in an airport and be told where to go last minute just to get out of here.

I don't care if he stays or goes anymore, he thinks the name on the back of the shirt is bigger than the badge on the front.

I imagine he's been informed that a deal is likely and he needs to be somewhere to complete it rather than in Zambia, what's wrong with that? We know he wants to leave, players are allowed to move on.

The fact Mahrez is willing to Sit in an airport and wait for the phone to ring to go to any club but us speaks volumes.

Seriously..

**** Mahrez.

Why? It's not like the club are not aware of it and know the situation. If no club comes in for him, he flies to Zambia, plays, and comes back to Leicester. Easy.
