Woke up to this news, not good at all knew it would happen on the last day though, if its Barca then fair play any English team can **** off

Don't see why it's fair play just because it's Barca. Feck them if they come in this late for him. They haven't budged when Roma bid and he could easily have gone elsewhere which obviously suggests he's not a top priority for them. Like Liverpool, we should not be bullied into selling our biggest asset just because it's legendary Barcelona.

We will have gotten rid of Barnes, Kapustka, Lawrence, Musa and Mahrez and not replaced a single one of them out wide. Remarkable.

But we've managed to hold on to King Gray and super talent Chilwell. Not to mention Maguire on the wing has potential

I'll be genuinely disappointed in our owners if we sell today and end up either not replacing him or panic buying.

We should have been stronger in telling him he can go as long as it's with plenty of time for us to replace him.

In the Mail it says a Spanish paper is claiming Mahrez is Barcelona's back up in case they can't sign Courthino.

Meaning he has already agreed terms with Barcelona in that case.

Only one of them really needs replacing seeing as the rest have played 10 games between them.

This could be one of the most significant transfer days in years if the club doesn't hold its fvcking nerve.....nobody goes anywhere unless we get offered what we have stated all along.

To be fair, strengthening on the wide positions was always going to be a priority regardless of Mahrez leaving or not.

The club have had ample amounts of time to strengthen or at least agree a deal.

Thing is, with Drinkwater trying to force a move to Chelsea (who have the money from the Matic transfer) and Barcelona easily being able to buy Mahrez (look at what they're willing to pay for Coutinho), then we could be looking at potentially £100m in the space of a few hours.

We're only fvcked up if we fail to bring in people of the same calibre or players who have the potential to replace both of them.

Genuinely don't see how he fits there, also the wont pay his wages

Barca have been linked with Eriksen in this transfer window, which would open a spot. That said, I agree that he doesn't fit the hard-working mould of the Spurs squad.

If it's Arsenal, Spurs or Chelsea their fans won't be happy will they, I mean they all seemed to think he was a one season wonder.

You mean like Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, Thomas Lemar, etc.

We are not going to replace mahrez with someone equally as good (on his day), we won't be able to attract that kind of player. Our hope is Gray develops or we sign someone who can develop to Riyads level.

Yes, but one isn't a guarantee with us mate! And if the answer is Andros Townsend then I'd rather any of the other mob we let go!!!

There are a number of players with qualities like Mahrez who would help us fill the void but they may never be as effective. Thorgan Hazard for example would be superb and he'd come as well.

We lose Mahrez and I really fear for us going forward creating anything. Think we'll struggle massively and just hope we've got some gem lined up nobody knows about.

But it's Leicester so we'll sell everyone and get Molla Wague's cousin in for 6 months or something.

And he'll get injured first game and never seen again.
