I think its a precaution that Mahrez has probably been advised to take by his agent. Imagine that Barca came in for him and he couldn't sign because he was stuck in Zambia. The media hype everything up too, this could of gone under the radar, window passes and he'd remain with us and no one is none the wiser.

Shaqiri, bellerabi etc We could get those sorts of players in, whether it could be done on TDD is another story, Mahrez is not the be all and end all that some seem to think.
