If we lose Mahrez and Maguire gets injured, we literally have no-one who can create. Back to Huth toe-poking it out of play.

Gray got as many assists last year and Albrighton got as many as those two combined. Other players will step up.

It won't be the end of the story if the club doesn't accept a bid, and it's not guaranteed that one will come in that they will accept.

And I did not say sell him undervalued, you jumped to that conclusion. But half the fans on this forum would decline any bid and be desperate to keep him even though he doesn't give a shit about the club.

Yeah, we'll probably be ok. I just like adding to the tense atmosphere.

Pretty sure a lot of this stems from Ryad's reluctance to play under a tactically limited one dimensional system, although we all know what happens when a manager tries to change things around here.

It's good to read your entirely balanced emotionless posts in this.

And for the record, Mahrez is NOT literally begging to leave the club.

Gray has potential to be as good as Mahrez.

He get's hated just because he want's to play and gets the arse if he can't

Mahrez gets the arse even when he is playing but just because of his ability people cloud their judgement for him.

I'd say that Gray can, Chilwell opens up teams, and I'd like to see Ndidi go forward more as he has always looked positive when he has (albeit his shots are a bit wayward), and I'd like to think that Iheanacho could be creative, I also read that Iborra is a 'box to box' type player (but slow) so it is likely he can also provide some creativity.

But over the last few seasons we've definitely relied on Mahrez, I just don't think we should be too worried just yet...

There are going to be chants and songs written about Mahrez waiting at an airport.

I think it hilarious.

Ohhhhh Mahrez is at the airport.

What his destination gonna beeee?

Yeah we'll sell him for a fortune.

But at least he didn't fake an injuryyyy

It may seem emotional, but it's not.

I just don't see the merit in playing someone who does not give a **** about the club anymore when we have a young potential wonderkid desperate to play.

If Slimani has gone to Zambia, does it follow then that he is not leaving - otherwise he'd have dropped out of the squad too?

I imagine he's been informed that a deal is likely and he needs to be somewhere to complete it rather than in Zambia, what's wrong with that? We know he wants to leave, players are allowed to move on.

Wants to leave?

Desperate to leave.

Embarrassingly desperate to be anywhere else than Leicester.

Just go.

I get that point, but he played well Saturday. If he gives his all, he's ok by me.

Balls to mahrez lol relax! Who knows what treasures we'll be signing today?! Don't worry about who leaves, worry about who comes in, Southampton style! :)

I'm with Lee to an extent here, if he sits in Paris begging it all day then doesn't get a move, could I sing his name when he gets back to the KP? No chance.

Don't admit that on these forums lol

People can't handle opinions on here, if it was any other player they would be driving them to the airport, messiah Mahrez gets a pass as our fans seem to think we should turn down any bid for him.

With all this said, the fact I'm having to say all this on deadling day is very bloody annoying, should have sorted this out weeks ago.

He's just coming to visit me.

I'm not sure it's him begging it. He's publicly asked to move, today is the last chance of the window - he doesn't want to be stuck on a plane if a bid comes in. That's fair enough, isn't it?

It is also quite funny, especially if no bid does come in
