More than a few empty seats against Huddersfield (although not as many as Man City, West Ham, Stoke etc this week).

Did you get one of those ??

All single seats mate, most people will want to go with family/friends.

There were more than single seats available in the corner where SK1 joins the East Stand (G Block ??). The Family Stand also had space if you had an u18 with you.

If you can't see them on LCFC.COM then it's always worth phoning the ticket office. It's also worth joining one of those ticket exchange groups on Facebook or here

As long as we're still averaging over 31,000 its still grounds to expand. There always gonna be the odd empty seat through poor planning, no one wanting to go by themselves or ST holders not bothering (seems to be on the rise).

If we aren't careful we will miss the boat on this. We've been ready for ages.

I did, my point is more aimed at the availability of season tickets which I believe we are currently limited to.

There's a group of 6 STH who sit next to me in A1 who haven't been to any of the last four games!

The club really need to come up with a proper, workable season ticket exchange service which allows others to get to matches, STH to get some return and the club to take a percentage. It works at other clubs.

No need for empty seats.

I looked on the clubs website the night b4 the Huddersfield game and there were about 40 odd single seats left in the stadium. This also includes all hospitality which there was about 4

Apologies if this has already been asked/answered, but is there a waiting list for Season Tickets and if so how big is it..does anybody know?

You have to be a Member to have a chance of a season ticket. They run a ballot at the end of each season for those that wish to upgrade to a season ticket.

But the membership this year is too much, and expired season tickets just get passed on under the same name.

I'm probably being very thick here, but I guess what Im asking is whether the club is over subscribed for season tickets. If we are 20%+ oversubscribed then maybe a stadium extension would be good. If not, then.......well IMHO its just not worth it

There were 5 tickets available for sale on the day according to the ticket office. The club can’t help it if people don’t turn up.

Ever increasing numbers of empty seats at PL grounds. I'd love us to have a bigger stadium but I also like how it's still a real treat to see lcfc play.

premier league grounds are experiencing a decline in ticket sales? where did you hear this?

Empty seats on tv all the time. Emirates Wednesday (& every week), Wembley Thursday (& every week). Big patches of empty seats at Watford, Man City, stoke most weeks. Even at the KP this season you can almost always see chunks of empty home seats.

The PL would be crazy not to encourage, or even subsidise full stadiums. Much more marketable product for TV.

Kompany has done a dissertation on this, would love to read the full thing. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-42574469

I genuinely believe there will be a drop in ticket prices/move towards safe standing in the near future as TV producers will realise a massive part of their product is atmosphere and what that does to games.

I genuinely believe that corporate greed will maintain tickets at stupid levels, with the trite justification that it’s on par with Alton Towers or a trip to Cheddar Gorge.

It means nothing to television either, they can simply focus on crowded sections and play crowd sound effects (like they did over the tannoy at Forest the one time I was dragged to see them in 99).

I don’t think this is what he’s saying just the fact that season ticket holders decide not to turn up or can’t go etc...

I don't think the club ever released figures for the number of season ticket ballot applicants. However, from reading around on social media it seems that quite a number were unlucky and missed out.

Agree with this about artificially replicating the sound of the terraces. Last time I went to Craven Cottage the tannoy was silent.
