As mentioned, the stand was initially built to be able to expand it in the future.

As long as there's sufficient, additional parking facilities to accommodate any expansion and hence the local residents don't get in a huff about supporters using their spaces during match days.., then it should go ahead; like Stoke fans have discussed for a good while before they eventually expanded theirs, it's been talked about for long enough to be done and there shouldn't be any concerns about PL stability as do people seriously think we have a good chance of going down?..

Compare our attendance to Everton and Spurs in previous rounds and we still got a bigger gate despite both of those clubs charging similar prices to us.

Poor comparison, both clubs are playing in Europe this season so this completion is the one people are least likely to attend.

Still actually playing matches though aren’t they, doesn’t mean the fans get in for free.

Are we getting closer to 10,000 more seats?

Feels like we’ll be safe for another season now, so is this the pivotal moment the owners sign it off?

With Forest Hills training ground option now off may be they're hanging on until this investigation at home is sorted

What went wrong with forest hills?

No idea but it was posted on here that it's no longer an option

Club has other options that they're looking into further, but they haven't ruled any location out yet including the above.

Plans had been unveiled for Forest Hill (I posted in the New Training Ground thread a few weeks back about what the owner there, Lakki, had said regarding this matter).

I don't believe the FH idea is "written off" just yet, as it seems currently that's the hope for the many loyal club members there.

Maybe @dynamarkknows more than I do as he actually seems to know a bit of the talk there?

The club are very quiet about this. Probably more interested in purchasing a golf club at the moment.

So they can batter Rudkin into submission on deadline days?

There's a small part of me that thinks our owners might just be considering something big (such as a complete rebuild). Given the demand and all of the money we've brought in from the Champions League etc. it seems remarkably quiet on the stadium expansion front...

Do we need it?

Spurs didn't sell out, lots if tickets still available for tomorrow as well.

I'm beginning to think that we need some kind of retractable third tier for when the big boys are in town, yes I know that's not possible.

I know you can't get seats together and it's the week before Christmas, both are on TV but given the form we're in I was surprised there were tickets available for Palace and Man City available yesterday.

Yeah I was quite surprised, over 130 seats in G1 yesterday.

Shock seats left 10 days before exmas in an early kick off with palace. Not the most romantic clash of the season. Plus the weather.

There is massive amount of people that think every game is a complete sell out.The club need to get the message out better when tickets are available.

Also filbert street didn't always sell out but we still added thousands on our average when we moved.

It's out to tender now with work commencing in June? That's pretty quick isn't it?
