Shakespearean Chants

Recommended Posts

With 'Shakespeare' as our boss, it seems we ought to manage of few signature chants based on/borrowed from the legendary bard. We'd either look like the most sophisticated club in the country ....or a monty python sketch. Either way a win :D

He trots the air; the earth sings when he touches it; the basest horn of his hoof is more musical than the pipe of Hermes.

Though this be madness, yet there is method in it.

"This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remember'd;
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day."

Shakespeare is our gaffer

he likes to write a play

hrs gonna write a tragedy

about your trip to Filbert Way

It might not be hamlet

it might not be King Lear

but there will be Jamie Vardy

and that's enough to fear.

open to edits

Actually quite good but I couldn't help myself :P

Based on the reaction on here after Friday night I'd say it's got to be ....

"Infamy infamy they've all got it in for me"

It will be worse than that if we don't beat Brighton. It will be the 'King Richard III ' line 'Off with his head'
