For the sakes of the city and some good friends I do hope Tigers win. Plus Sarries have won enough recently. But there's generally not too much love for Tigers about the rest of English rugby. 

Maybe, not much love,but hell of a lot of respect, though strange over very many years, every Top player wanted to be part of The Tigers-Club even going back to those amateur days,120yrs plus…

& like in football some pundits & fans always love nothing more than to bring down the big boys…Wasps/Bath/Mosely/Tigers….of late, Harlequins, Saracencs, and especially nice old Exeter…


I never knew a decade where Tigers club didn’t respect their opponent…:-

<than…> than…equal=to…Some fans had their beef,likewise some ex-oppo-players, turned pundit…!! Then again there was adoration.

Irish,Scots,Welsh…Aussie,Springbok,Kiwi,Pumas, General in S.America, & Eastern Europe…probably known & positively debated more than the city..

Like other sporting clubs W.wide, I prefer to concentrate on how much more a

distinguished club receives positives…It was the Tigers, that many chased…

& a very few still would enjoy following with a shovel & blackcap…
