Really enjoyable game that. Northampton dropped/knocked on a few good chances and missed some decent kicks. Not at our best until mid second half. 

 

Still not used to sitting in mixed sections however

Not sure how it came across on tv but felt we were absolutely battered in the first half, no idea how we went in level. That was key though and I was confident Steve would work some magic with them at the half time break. Atmosphere was insane. I was right by our try line in the second half where all the action was at the end - need to rest my voice now!

Tigers were incredibly fortunate in their win v Saracens and hammered in the return fixture. Can’t see them getting near sadly

Atmosphere was brilliant today. Really enjoyed it. Went with a couple of Saints fans too.....larvely

I said we would have to put up more a performance than when we played Wasps and for 30 minutes there was only one side in it. 
 

Hung in there and had quite a bit of luck but improved in the second half. 
 

We really will need to find more next week though. 
 

No idea who the neutrals will backing next week, Tigers are generally loathed/loved like the New York Yankees. Saracens aren’t exactly the most liked team after their exploits in the past few seasons.

What a game ..  what a team ..  what a season …. even when they are under the cosh you know they are still in with a chance ..  and boy did they take it !!  Made my day.
Looking forward to next week ..  I know we are probably the underdogs but these players will give it their all.  Roll on Saturday !!

They’re v good at that - did it yesterday against Quins too

I wonder how the citing on Farrell’s punch to Merchants face pans out, it’s very clear and should have been red on the day, lineo was right there and nothing mentioned by the TMO?
