The whole world smiles Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Took us from the championship all the way to the champions league! I know some people will be bitter or angry about the way he's gone but over time you will look back on all the players from this era especially the bloody good ones like Danny with such pride. You will bore your children and your grandchildren with tales of Allbrightons work rate, Drinkwater's passing and Vardys goals and aggression. Here's to you Danny Drinkwater!
bridport007 Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 LEICESTER CONFIDENT ON SILVA Leicester are confident they have completed the signing of Adrien Silva from Sporting Lisbon before the deadline, for a fee Sky Sourcesunderstand to be worth £22m. Leicester officials are awaiting formal confirmation from the FA and Premier League that the deal was processed correctly. http://www.skysports.com/transfer-centre Just now, the fox said: Now give us the silva news
kingfox Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 I'm quite emotional, there was a time when this guy was number 1 on my most hated list, then he turned his fortunes around and I began to like him until last season when he turned shit again. Enjoy the bench Danny £35 million pocketed as well, thanks Chelsea
Harry96 Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 All the best to him will be interesting to see how he does with Kante again if he gets on the pitch that is
the fox Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 The title winning team is slowly fading away, seeing the the CB pairing is now different, plus the CM pairing is gone and okazaki will sit on the bench, that's pretty much the spine of that team. Sad, sad times!
Daggers Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 If Riyad had gone I'd have wished him well because he's carried himself magnificently. Danny took the 'oh, I'm injured' route - that sucked balls. Big sweaty old man balls. Like Thracian's balls, but slightly less shrivelled and not hanging as low. So thanks, Dan, but I'll not be shedding a tear for you. It was good for a while but, for me, you pissed on those chips.

Sad, sad times! It was always going to happen at some point, the only real loss is still Kante. We've gained Maguire, Iheanacho and maybe Silva, still have Kasper, Mahrez and Vardy. We should be fairly happy.
Jattdogg Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Makes me sad to see him go. If he goes to chelsea and finds his form inwill be pisssssssed. Bit annoyed with him wanting to leave but is what it is. Even he is not bigger than the club. All the best drinky, enjoy the butt splinters lol.
boosmanana Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Bye Danny, you snake. You were phenomenal in the title winning team but realistically we've just upgraded and made money out of it too. Just wish you could have left in a more classy manner. So much for finishing your career here, genuinely don't think we'll miss you!

FuchingKante Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 When in form, a top player but was extremely poor last season. Replacing him with Silva and making a profit is ridiculously good business.

We got the best English CB, we got a great second Keeper, we got another good center back, we got a Portuguese box to box international, we got the former Sevilla captain, we got one of the highly rated strikers and kept vardy, Kasper and mahrez! Well done, Rudkin!
Foxxed Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 I'm sad to see him go but his form hasn't been great and Shakey hasn't been too keen for whatever reason. I hope he gets good game time at Chelsea. So we have James, King, Iborra and Ndidi now. We have three vaguely defensive midfielders and one attacking who is rarely a starter. And Silva, if he signs, isn't really a creative midfielder.
the fox Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Trying to go to sleep but can't help but remember his goal vs Liverpool

Even the most unexpected players can score great goals. Just count all those 5 yard backward pushes DD did for much of last season. Zzzzz

Zzzzz That's the thing, it wasn't the best goal ever but it was our player, usually when people leave, they only leave good memories behind them. I'm sure even your least favourite player would leave a good memorie behind, just look at riyad, his "critics" will still criticize him, but when he is picking up another team's kit, there will be a memorie of him that will make them think "he is really gone!"
HankMarvin Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 mahrez is gonna be even more pissed when he sees them 2 at chelsea
HankMarvin Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Can't really blame him for not wanting to get injured once in a life time move for him, he probably knows his value is no where near that much. The old Trafford reject did good, once again credit to Steve Walsh the benefits are still being reaped long after his departure.
EnglishOxide Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Deserves his shot at the big time after working his way up from being dropped from United as a youngster. And being at a 'big club' gets him regular England call ups which he wasn't going to get playing for us. Thanks for everything. Leicester legend. Nuff said.

He is also very close to Slimani who both combined well at Sporting so we may get even more benefit with the 2 of them working well together. Think a younger better tackling Cambiassio!!
