We're on to complaining about losses which haven't even happened yet. Excellent.

Exactly. One reason I generally don't get involved for long.

Agree with all of that.  he's definitely had his hands tied, we havent had good luck with injuries and Silva and whatnot.  I am still optimistic about this season and I think when everything settles we will be good.  Maybe when we get more confident and everyone is fit we will go up a gear, potential is definitely there

And I feel the same about Oka and Albrighton.  They do not deserve to be dropped, but I do want to see Gray get a start and I think Kelechi is going to be a good foil for Vardy.  And maybe Shinji and Marc would be even better for securing leads

I think having Marc and Slimani on if we are chasing games would be ideal also.  Slimani can be like our Giroud if used right

Though not quite as devastatingly beautiful. X

I can only speak for myself but I think if someone puts forward a reasonable, well-argued critique, void of personal insults to players/staff and backed up with at least 2% actual evidence than I have no problem and, whilst I may counter it, would never shoot anyone down.  The problem is, people (and I am talking generally here) tend to spout negative rubbish but do not back it up with anything and then they get all “everyone is a happy clapper I am just speaking the truth” when people shoot down their arguments.  Tired of seeing “Shakespeare is shit, Gray is mardy, Iborra is sh1t, Nacho will always injured, Mendy couldn’t hack it, mahrez is lazy” bollcks.

But, like I said, that is my opinion and I may be wrong.  Always happy to be proved wrong. X

But this precisely the place for moaning.  Moaning is one of the inalienable rights of the football fan and also one of the joys.

This place is great for sharing the good times and also for letting off steam.  You don't have to agree, as long as it doesn't get personal and we all get behind the team on match day.

Do you genuinely feel like that is what happens on this site?

Yes.

If you have a gripe or a viewpoint that goes against the grain, you can explain it and back it up with as much rationale as you want, the point of view will not be respected or listened to.  It will be shot down and ridiculed.

Fook sake....

This is a score line prediction thread.

A simple score line will do, but yet again it's descended into war and peace.

I would wager some people on "the other side" of the argument feel exactly the same as that.  I think all reasoned debate is a good thing but some people seem to offer negative viewpoints with little or no back up.  Each to their own I suppose.  Debate is healthy if it is valid. X

You're not wrong, if someone posted on here right now. "I'm not sure Shakespeare will be good enough tactically to get us to midtable", nobody would abuse them or shoot them down. What they might get is someone pointing out that against the teams outside the top 7 we've won 7 and drawn 2 under Shakespeare. That's far more evidence that he's good enough for midtable than a string of losses against teams spending a billion quid each.

I agree.  There are valid arguments people could put forward as for why he might not "be the right man for the job" but so far all I have seen is "He might have been responsible for why we were sh1t under Claudio and why we were sh1t for most of the Great Escape but he had nothing to do with the actual Great Escape, promotion, or winning the league, and he is over 50 and overweight and he hasn't played players yet that are injured or not quite signed".  Some of the things about substitutions might be a little more valid but I tend to think he deserves time.  Let's see if he learns from his "mistakes".  Anyway, feck it, I cannae be arsed anymore. Anyone fancy a nice, loving kiss?  I want to experiment before I lose my looks. X

Our away record has been abysmal for some time. Surprised the bookies have us favourites.

2-2 draw, which I don't think would be a disaster.
