I agree.  There are valid arguments people could put forward as for why he might not "be the right man for the job" but so far all I have seen is "He might have been responsible for why we were sh1t under Claudio and why we were sh1t for most of the Great Escape but he had nothing to do with the actual Great Escape, promotion, or winning the league, and he is over 50 and overweight and he hasn't played players yet that are injured or not quite signed".  Some of the things about substitutions might be a little more valid but I tend to think he deserves time.  Let's see if he learns from his "mistakes".  Anyway, feck it, I cannae be arsed anymore. Anyone fancy a nice, loving kiss?  I want to experiment before I lose my looks. X

If that's you in the signature pic, I'm afraid that ship has sailed...:P

2-0 to Huddersfield.

We'll be made to look fools but anyone with concerns will be shot down and told, 'It's only the 5th game FFS', 'Lets wait and see where we are after 10 games', 'People need to remember when we had a team of right backs' etc etc.

Negative **** :ph34r:lol

3-0 to the Udders. Meltdown on FT. Shakey removed with immediate effect. Vards and Scmeichel slam in transfer requests in support. Silva emigrates to Peru, where he spends all his money on drugs, alcohol and women and gets too fat to ever play again. Vichai has seizure and sells up to Vincent Tan. Club goes into liquidation and we all end up supporting Cov. Vicki Vixen cements the alliance by cross-breeding with whatever the feck Cov's mascot is. (If it turns out to be an inanimate object, I might rethink that last piece. I'm far too lazy to google it).

You're not wrong, if someone posted on here right now. "I'm not sure Shakespeare will be good enough tactically to get us to midtable", nobody would abuse them or shoot them down. What they might get is someone pointing out that against the teams outside the top 7 we've won 7 and drawn 2 under Shakespeare. That's far more evidence that he's good enough for midtable than a string of losses against teams spending a billion quid each.

That's good Baby.

Off this topic (could not find which thread I read this on) I wanted to ask what figures you have relating to the following that you wrote and I'm paraphrasing;

the owners haven't spent big since we got promoted.

Something like that?

Soz Col for hijacking your thread ?

They haven't spent their own money (since promotion) is what I think I said, I've also said we've spent a good amount compared to a lot of others though. But, not in my opinion (and lessons from the past) enough to regularly crack the top 6. What we've spent is just what we've earned so far.

On on my phone so can't post exact numbers, but I think we had about the 7th biggest net spend since promotion... signing DD and not signing Silva yet probably mucks that up though.

Agree with all of that.  he's definitely had his hands tied, we havent had good luck with injuries and Silva and whatnot.  I am still optimistic about this season and I think when everything settles we will be good.  Maybe when we get more confident and everyone is fit we will go up a gear, potential is definitely there

And I feel the same about Oka and Albrighton.  They do not deserve to be dropped, but I do want to see Gray get a start and I think Kelechi is going to be a good foil for Vardy.  And maybe Shinji and Marc would be even better for securing leads

I think having Marc and Slimani on if we are chasing games would be ideal also.  Slimani can be like our Giroud if used right

Do you get to see much of our games in Prague!

Depends if we go out not to lose, rather than be positive and try and win it.

Negative tactics 1-1, positive 3-1 city

Like the idea positive 1-3 ?
