SemperEadem Posted 22 September 2017 Share Posted 22 September 2017 A lot of moaning about the decline in decent atmosphere at our away games gets put on foxestalk, a lot of the time from myself. I do see this as a great way to actually do something prosctive to improve them. Fair play, well behind this.
BroughtonFox Posted 23 September 2017 Share Posted 23 September 2017 Don’t see how people can see this as a negative thing. This will only improve the atmosphere

LutterworthLCFC Posted 26 September 2017 Share Posted 26 September 2017 Away atmospheres have declining for years now, this will help get more like-minded fans together and improve away atmospheres.
Dr The Singh Posted 26 September 2017 Share Posted 26 September 2017 I think it's a great idea and please lets us sit down in silence types know, so we can avoid such a racket
Sammy Posted 26 September 2017 Share Posted 26 September 2017 Can the block you choose try and be the block behind the goal whenever possible - usually makes the end better a la Stoke away last year
Leamington Fox Posted 27 September 2017 Share Posted 27 September 2017 It's funny. In the late 80s and 90s, the atmosphere at home was probably not as good overall as it is now at the KP (if you weren't on the Kop). However, the atmosphere away was 10 times better than following City these days. It remained better even after seating was introduced. I was at Old Trafford earlier in the season and we didn't really get going, despite the surroundings and the occasion.

I know the football, and results, haven't been impressive but it used to be the case that fans tried to make the best of a crap game/ performance, often with gallows humour. Has that gone? I just think it's a case of 'been there, done that' nowadays. Same for L block for the home games

When you’re in your fifties though, the appeal of acting like a looney just isn’t the same and for some strange reason, lads in their prime want to act like people in their fifties. Yup and give it 10 years and there will be virtually no atmosphere, just clapping and light cheering interspersed with commercial breaks and sponser promos.
