sphericalfox Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Just got sacked because of player power, yeah he'll love it here!

Pretty sure getting an unemployed football manger to take a job is more likely than us spunking 300 million on ronaldo. And both more likely than you spunking on anything other than a picture of the delightful rachel.

davieG Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Problem is the club is between a rock and a hard place the football we play and the players we have aren't seemingly up to playing any other way and all these managers being linked don't play that way. I was rather hoping that with the signings of Iborra, Dragovic and the failed signing of Silva was an indication that Shaky was going to gradually change our style, maybe the Silva failure is proving a bigger problem than just being a player short.

lgfualol Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Think he'll want to join a team where main players can actually pass to another on our team

I think with the players we have and brought in Rafa could work with them, and would suit his tactics. However, Newcastle are starting to play well and found a bit of mojo, despite the serious lack of available investment. The only way Rafa would come to us is that we'd promise him loads of dough, which we'd probably have to spend to replace the players who don't want to play anything but 4-4-2.
SheppyFox Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Don’t worry about upsetting people that still support shakey, they’d have been the ones seeing us relegated supporting Ranieri.
ZeGuy Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Yeah, no. From Bayern to Leicester, the culture shock is too big.

Pep was never that popular at bayern yet Carlo has been critised for ruining all peps passing master class hard work. So if he starts off with players that can't pass

David Hankey Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Ancelotti will be installed on Tuesday 17th October or soon after.

Yes...highly unlikely...but not beyond the realms of possibility. Completely right. Not beyond the realm of possibility. I believe he'd love a project like this one. I think the days of "I'll only manage a big team", is close to gone. A manager looks at what resources are available to him. Just look at Man City. In 2001 they were a division 1 team...now? I was honestly surprised he went to Bayern because he said it would be dull to manage. He did though, after some cajoling from Karl Heinz. I believe we should at least give it a try.

Sir Shep Posted 30 September 2017 Author Posted 30 September 2017 Ok, so when I chose the title I knew some posters would end up rubbing themselves silly as to how unrealistic it would be, or how embarrassing it would be for me to dare put it out there. Yes I suspect it would be a very very Slim chance, but you never know, he may see the Space Centre, look upon the beauty of bradgate and the delights of what Groby pool car park can offer and think you know what, £5M a year and I'd be up for this. Ok ok so maybe Rafa!
