Sly Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Sam kept them up. Jeff has been half decent for them to be fair. They’ve dropped like a stone, similarly Sunderland. He’s effective, albeit not exciting.
Sly Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 We need a Managerial Team. It’s hard to find one person that does it all.

Clever Fox Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 While I was happy Shakey was given a chance it's becoming clear he doesn't have what it takes. Marco Silva ould be a great Manager for us. Has proven himself at every club he's been at. I would love him here.
PoshhFox Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Why is this even a topic. Not a chance he’s coming here.
Spiritwalker Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 If the Silva thing doesn't get sorted then we are in the shit until Jan whoever is manager. Those who say we should move away from 442 may be right but our squad is top heavy with quality strikers and badly lacking with Premier League standard c.mids. It seems CS is on borrowed time but I'd like to see what he could do with a decent midfield.
Guest Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 those saying ancelotti could never happen seem to underestimate the power of money and well framed ambition. Leicester could offer both, but whether we ever will is another question. In simplest terms, I believe us going up to a quality manager and saying 'here's a stack of cash and 3-5 years, take us to the champions league' has got to be just as appealing as 'here's a stack of cash, don't lose our place in champions league.' What's the appeal of treading water at Corporate Brand FC?
Leicesterpool Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Won't come I don't think, think he was once quoted to saying he'd only manage a london club.
DelBoy73 Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 If we offer him a contract on a 100k /w we could lure him, overwise not a single chance in earth.
Webbo Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Its not impossible, I think the owners tried before. I would think there'd be compensation to sort out with Bayern before he could take another though.

Bayern sacked him - why would there be any compensation ?? however - that's for another club to relate to, not us !!
dylanlegend Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Have we sacked Shaky then? this place is embarrassing

But if you think that it's not crossing minds then I'd suggest, respectfully, that you may be being a tad optimistic on CS's behalf ! Well if anyone thinks Ancelotti would come to us is mentally ill or just ****ing stupid. Sean Dyche or Marco Silva if Shaky has to go

420Hashish Posted 1 October 2017 Posted 1 October 2017 I definitely support Marco Silva coming to be the manager. I wanted him to be the manager when the season ended but our dumbass owners had to go with Milkshake
ealingfox Posted 1 October 2017 Posted 1 October 2017 We couldn't attract players from Watford or Burnley when we were champions ffs, and people think that in the state we are in now we could waltz up to either and lift their manager?

So wasteful. If he came here he would waste more money on mediocre players than we already have done.

If I was a multi millionaire club owner which had won the league but was in freefall I'd make the changes required to sort it out. I'm in no way in the know but from the outside the owners seem too loyal to the wrong people currently who make these decisions for them.

They 'should' have already reached an arrangement the amount could be limited by the time the time it takes him to obtain new employment but Bayern basically owe him his contract based on agreements in it when he signed.
