Cincinnati Fox Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 No doubt he has been quality over the years but really poor this season. Usually makes top draw saves and few mistakes, this year... Should have saved Kante goal Depoitre goal Salah goal Chadli goal Distribution worse than ever and it’s never been great. looks devoid of confidence.
Jimmy Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 He’s never been any good at free kicks, he was moaning he couldn’t see well he set the fecking wall up
FoxinNotts Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 Put a man on a post. Keeper to cover the other. Basics.
Cincinnati Fox Posted 16 October 2017 Author Posted 16 October 2017 It’s 30 yards out! He should not even need a wall. he could have just walked over and caught it. if the opsonising team hit the target then kasper won’t save it.
Monsell1976 Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 His distribution was more concerning tonight for me, dropped us in the shit a few times. To his credit, he was trying to get us to break quickly, but he has to give it to a blue shirt.
Stevosevic Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 Cost us quite a bit this season - no doubt about it. Chelsea, Huddersfield and today in particular.
Izzy Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 And I THINK this now completes a full house of threads to have a pop at every single player so far this season
Sampson Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 He's a great player, just hideously out of form right now. He'll come back eventually. Let's not forget we do genuinely have some very good players here but we're playing a style which is just wasting then without having the likes of Drinkwater and Kante in the centre of the park.

Or just pist?
Rigga Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 Last season was Kaspers best season imo.. This year he has been a shadow of himself and an opposing freekick may aswell be a penalty! Has no idea what to do with his wall..

vanity Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 He has been below average this season. Awful goals allowed on free kicks, plus terrible goals like the one Kante scored where he didn't move for the ball, he seems to be either disinterested or in decline. Perhaps he thought he'd be moving on? IDK. But he has cost us a decent number of points (not that I can't say the same about other players like Maguire and Mahrez).

sdb Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 Great player performing below his par at the mo. Far bigger issues. I really wish we'd stick a player on the post though. So predictable.

This - needs to buck his ideas up or have a consultation with his dad (although different era). However, despite his flaws - he always gives the impression that he cares / is still passionate for LCFC cause.
BoyJones Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 Been great for City, but time to move on. Get rid, let him have his dream move to Yanited and get a new hungry talented keeper. People blaming Shakey, but key players like Kasper and Mahrez and others letting him down. Awful miss from Mahrez tonight costs us two points. Gray goes round last defender at Huddersfield and mysteriously goes to ground. Ok, refereeing decision at Arsenal with the Ozil handball right in front of Dean allowing their equaliser. Vardy misses a pen costs us a point. Okazaki missing a five a side finish at Bournemouth. But it for me the weakness is Kasper, the goal conceded at Huddersfield, he would normally have saved it. McGuire got caught out but pushed the attacker wide enough for a comfortable save. Chelsea at home. IMO let Kasper go, he's not the keeper he was.
Melbourne Fuchs Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 He's been really poor, but he always gets better as the season goes on. Hopefully he improves soon.
ZeGuy Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 LOL. The only player who still didn't have his dedicated slating thread. This anomaly has been now corrected. He messed up tonight but how many times did he save our necks until now? HUH? You ungrateful lot.
inckley fox Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 There are question marks over everyone right now. It's not as if he sticks out like a sore thumb. But he's been a great goalkeeper for us for many years and there's no reason to think he's passed it. All keepers have a dip in form here and there - so did he, back in the FLC. It'd be nice to think that we'd be a bit more patient when one of our greatest ever players is a tad out of sorts. Especially when everyone else is too.
Blue ROI Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 As bad as he's been since promotion. He's one of our greats but you can't ignore how bad he's playing. Been a bit out of sorts since the spurs hammering really.
lee7 Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 If anyone thinks moving him on is a good idea then they're mad. Just look at other goal keepers in the league for a start or even compare him to Hamer! Quality goal keepers are few and far between & although he's going through a slump in form at the minute he has saved us in the past on many ocassions.
KingsX Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Kasper’s disappointing season to date has cost us more points than anyone else’s. He hasn’t played the worst, it’s just the position he plays. From free play, he remains a gifted reaction shot-stopper and superb at coming off his line to snuff breakaways. The weaker parts of his game (defending free kicks and distribution) have obviously regressed. It’s a little sickening to see him pasted for “disinterest” but that’s normal MO for some on here. I’ll keep my powder dry and anticipate my wife’s favorite player will get his game together jointly with some of his teammates. I would be surprised if he moves on soon. Like Mahrez he is not playing at a level that will bring serious bids from the biggest clubs.
