copunk Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 Having had time to stew over the last few days events, its safe to say that life is never ever dull being a leicester fan, from staving off relegation, winning the league, managers ins and outs, owners not afraid to get things done, silvas transfer, the list goes on... would you rather carry on with the adventures we always get ourselves into, or be a run of the mill, mid table mediocraty club who steers clear of the limelight but always keep it safe
urban.spaceman Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 Why settle for mid table mediocrity when you can accidentally win the league?!
Matt Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 We're the real life Harchester United. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harchester_United_F.C.

Sir Shep Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 Yeah, wouldn't mind a crack at mid table right now!
whetstonefox Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 It is crazy to predict where we will end up in May next year. Getting relegated at Wembley on the last day of the season then winning The FA Cup a week later would be a Leicester thing to do!
HybridFox Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 Too right. Outside of all of this doom and gloom, we are still on a cup run. Beat Leeds and we are right in the mix

murphy Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 We are boring. The most horrible team to watch in the league. A load of chaos around the club does not equal entertainment for me.

I've just posted in another thread saying i've been bored for the last year and a half barr the CL games where we actually had a throwback to our PL winning style apart from that we're a shadow of our former selves.

Judging from basically every post I've seen from you in the last 24 hours, I reckon it's a sound assessment of how you're feeling about it. I agree with you though, we've lose the spark we had in 15/16, but that was always going to happen. Personally I blame our midfield (or lack of options in the position), I hope Silva goes some way to helping the situation. Don't view it through rose-tinted glasses though, we were hanging on for large periods during a lot of the CL group stage games.
Nalis Posted 25 November 2017 Posted 25 November 2017 Don't really see how people are wishing we are in Stoke/Southampton like mid table obscurity as if we are in a relegation battle... we are in mid table obscurity! This season we'll go on 3 match winning runs this seasons and 6/7 unbeaten game runs but conversely we'll go on winless and losing runs but it won't matter, we'll finish somewhere between 9th and 14th but ultimately the difference in those positions do not matter. For me, this season is all about the FA Cup and League Cup.

For me, this season is all about the FA Cup and League Cup. I really think Man City will proritise this fixture as they look to become the first club to do the quadruple. They will have plenty of PL points in hand to take the Saturday fixture a little easy so won’t need to rest players for our game. Whilst they play spurs on the Saturday the fixtures that follow our game are straightforward
winteriscoming Posted 25 November 2017 Posted 25 November 2017 Dily take finishing 10th and having a boring season. Imo we have to try and improve on the season before (with the expection of the title winning season) I do think that apart from the top 4/5 anyone can beat anyone. The aim is to win your home games against those sides and take a point away from home. Obviously it can be different against promoted sides or sides in poor form. At the start of the season you would of took a point at stoke and west ham.
Chico1958 Posted 25 November 2017 Posted 25 November 2017 48 years on and none of it has been boring. Thank god we have youtube and I can go back to Bloomfield, Milne, MON, "some" Pearson and of course 2016 and Claudo's era Thank you to all of them, it's not all doom and gloom And never boring
foxinsocks Posted 26 November 2017 Posted 26 November 2017 Only leicester could be 14 secs late on deadline day. Could have players send videos of bankok whoring Could sack the manager who won the pl Sack the bloke who kept us up Could have a manger scuffling with an oposition player...swearing at fans and bullying an overweight reporter Its as exciting off the feild ss on
Karljohn Posted 26 November 2017 Posted 26 November 2017 Football in general is boring now not just Leicester. When was the last exciting England game?!

Mike Oxlong Posted 26 November 2017 Posted 26 November 2017 I still have to pinch myself to believe that we won the title playing some beautiful football
