Brainy Posted 16 November 2017 Posted 16 November 2017 How did Rudkin not know he was gonna become good and we would sell him for over 30m?
SystonFox Posted 16 November 2017 Posted 16 November 2017 I’m really bored of hearing about Danny Drinkwater now
Aus Fox Posted 16 November 2017 Posted 16 November 2017 A sell on fee of around 15% would be standard for a player we got pretty cheap with huge potential. All it would do is add to what we paid united for him. If we paid 3 million for him (can't for the life of me think what we actually paid for him) add another 5.3 million - so we paid 8.3 million to United- For a player who was instrumental in us winning both the championship and Premier League, who went on to play for England and we sold on for 35 million. Any way you look at it, we still got the better deal!

Molson Canadian Posted 16 November 2017 Author Posted 16 November 2017 https://www.transfermarkt.com/danny-drinkwater/profil/spieler/73491 According to transfermarkt we paid Manchester united 900,000 for him and he was sold to Chelsea for 37.9 million

Guest Mee-9 Posted 16 November 2017 Posted 16 November 2017 Cor he's a bloody good businessman isn't he Rudkin? Makes some of the people on the apprentice look like Sir Richard Branson.
Bert Posted 16 November 2017 Posted 16 November 2017 Can't wait until he moves to Southampton in a year or two for £15m and we get £2m from a sell on.
Webbo Posted 16 November 2017 Posted 16 November 2017 What if ManU wouldn't sell without a sell on clause? Did any of you seriously think we'd be selling him for £35 million after a few years?

Cincinnati Fox Posted 16 November 2017 Posted 16 November 2017 Rudkin makes this lot on the apprentice look like geniuses! In fairness he cant be blamed for Drinkwater’s sell on but I just can not understand how the man still has a job, in any other business he would have been sacked/forced out about 15 times over with all his incompetent mistakes. we need a Rudkin out TIFO
