Think it's an appropriate time to dig this out the Foxestalk Christmas card thread.

Hugely underrated by many of our fans, he'll only be fully appreciated when he moves onto another club.

He's our most important midfielder at 20, in first few names on teamsheet, plays almost every game. Great natural talent and will only get better.

Nah - I think most fans rate him highly. Young, hungry, talented and he is rightly given a lot of leeway by the fans for the occasional mistake that he makes because we know how good he is.

It's his birthday tomorrow. He's due another goal. Hopefully a 25 yarder like against Stoke.

Someone posted the top tacklers in the premier league yesterday.

It was amazing he tops the chart. But what amazed me more is that he was above Kanté.

And he plays for us. Can we start the season again please?

Take nothing away from him, but with the number of people mentioning his age, it would be remiss if someone didn’t point out that he failed one of those age test things while trying to play for a Nigeria youth team, which would suggest he’s not actually 20. He’s probably 28 and at his peak. All downhill from here. No point any bigger clubs sending a scout. Move on chaps. Nothing to see here.

First off, MRI testing is failproof. It has shown African players born in Europe or the USA to be overage. And we all know how reliable their age records are.

Secondly, he passed the first test, but failed on the second a year later. What does that mean? Only that he was borderline. If he did age cheat we're talking about 1-2 years, not 7-8.

Makes me laugh that if you go back pre-puel some people on here were writing him off as "not good enough". Madness!

Evewn funnier when see you that's the same people who've written off Iborra after two games.

Love him. He's the best thing that could happen to us last year and I think we can hold on him at least one more season.

Was always going to have a shocker today after this thread.

One game ban for domestic right - so just misses the cup game?

Don't worry I'm sure andy King will be able to keep Silva & De Bruyne quiet!

Do cup games count?

Feel as if this question is regularly asked but still many ask from time to time.

Hate him. He's the worst thing that could happen to us and I think we should offload him as soon as possible.

Not nice to see one of our own players cheating!

Could he have, potentially, another ban on top of this current one received - if this one is to be investigated by the FA team?

No. It's been dealt with by the ref so that's that.

The fa will only look at cases where the ref has awarded a pen

lucky he didn't get the decision - we would never have got a second and wilf would have picked up a three match ban!
