We need to talk about Wilfred Ndidi

He could never improve his concentration but i think hes a good player most of the time. Only 20 so for 20, he is bloody good

As people get older in their prime, their concentration can definitely improve. His biggest problem is his first touch. It is poor at times and so loses time or possession. Sort that, which he could, and he will go to another level.

Its time we realise...we are a big(ish) club.

Who is going to come in for Wilf that is bigger than us and can offer more, lets face it, the top 4/5 want better, then its just the overseas clubs and they havent got the money or the competition.

we iz well massif oright

Ndidi is definitely a player Wenger will try to sign, but fail and we'll sell to someone else for like 60m.

I’m not sure about that, his passing can be a bit off but if he improves that he’s going to be an incredible player.

So easy to forget how young he is.

we already have iborra, wes and haeyy there, you need a player that can shoot still fast enough to stop a counter

Hey there to you too :schmike:

Once again huge credit goes to the scouting staff for unearthing yet another hidden gem!

We got in there early and that’s what we have failed to do before and after.

The one thing that’s clear about this window is that it appears we have only done that with HBA but we don’t need a massive amount.

He's massive for us but is still under the radar ...   just ...    but if you look closely on the radar you can just see a few dark hairs popping up ...    soon some tw@t on MOTD will be saying he is too good for Leicester and should be at a 'big' club ...      For now, he's ours, so enjoy !!!   :scarf:

With his age we should put him on a long term Contract. He's still a rough Diamond but has all of the attributes to be a top top player, Which I'm sure Puel is the right man to help him get there. Some of his tackling is still clumsy, and he needs to relax when on the Ball and improve his passing and shooting. All things that are easy to learn.

If we can keep our best players and just keep adding more quality each window, We will have a team to challenge any of the big six.

In midfield we already have iborra (europe league 3 x winner, champs league player) Silva (Champions league player) ndidi (was playing europa for genk) Mahrez - world class anyway.

so tbf were ready for the big boys.

Love how when we make a good signing all of the credit goes to 'the scouting team' but when we make a bad signing all of the blame goes to Rudkin.

Yes, Were getting down to fine margins now. We're still conceding soft goals and especially from set plays. It will be interesting to see how we integrate Silva into the team. I suspect that we might go with NDiddi and Silva and move Iborra forward to play the no 10 link role. It's exciting times ahead provided we can keep our best players.

I'm pretty sure that @kingfox and @AKCJprefer big Dan Amartey at CM?

The fact that Daniel Amartey is about 5th choice midfielder now just shows what strength in depth we have.

He's still a fantastic prospect. He might not be as good as Ndidi but that doesn't mean he's a bad player. If he were to be up for sale there are many Premier League teams that would jump at the opportunity.

But then again, you thought that Cattermole is better than Cambiasso so what the **** do you know?

Think it's an appropriate time to dig this out the Foxestalk Christmas card thread.
