Well I had faith in the lads before the great escape started. So I'm a yes as I think they will do this. After all they all got a taste of CL last season.

Too many known unknowns to call this yet.

1. Puel and his squad selections, subs and rotation I’m not sure about yet.

2. The Mahrez question. See The Clash’s Greatist Hits.

3. Silva, the transfer window in general and any other acquisitions and departures.

Sorry to put a damper on things but some people need a reality check. We've had a few decent results against sides we would hope to be competitive with and where we need to pick up points. We've played some good football but some complete dross as well. Our defence is still shambolic at defending set pieces and we don't keep enough clean sheets.

We are playing some good stuff and scoring goals and creating chances which is obviously good news but the top four would require sides like Chelsea and Liverpool to lose 2 or 3 games more than we will between now and the end of the season and it isn't going to happen. It can happen with sides from us down but the top sides just don't lose that many games.

However, if we win the next four league games I might think again but I can't see that happening seeing who we have to play.

7th would be a very decent season but we could finish anywhere from 7th to 19th at the moment. The league is still very tight.

Wouldn’t turn it down, but think europa league more likely, and that would take maintaining this form until the end of the season.

I think europa league would be exciting, teams are not as good, still good sides, but could have a real go at it.

Threads like this are just emabarrassing when other clubs fans look in.  What must we look like to the outside world?

To answer the question, of course not.

A club that has won the PL in the last two years. Something that Man U, Man City, Spuds, Liverduds, the Arse can only dream of.

Yeah, by 'we' I really meant us fans rather than the club.  We go on a good run which is brilliant but suddenly the more excitable among us think we'll be playing in the Champions League next year,  I think it makes us a bit of a laughing stock really.

If we lose today, expect to see threads from the same people asking if we'll finish bottom four.

Personally I am having a bit of a joke. But I would like to think that's what CP and the players are aiming for. And no I wont be throwing a hissy fit if we lose today at all. Well unless Kasper committed game suicide and rolled three in the back of the net lollol

It's not really a dream for Man City
