Making Mourinho lose again will fuel more questions on him, regarding whether he can get the club to win more trophies.

But they now sometimes look sluggish and a lot to be desired for, to be honest, from some of their recent displays.

There are little signs that all is not well with Jose / United. Certainly feeling his emotions and ego could be clouding judgement a little.

I seriously think they could be there for the taking. It would certainly be interesting to see how they'd react to a high tempo in their faces start and conceding an early goal - my only doubt on this is whether Puel will go for that approach, but I don't see why you wouldn't try and attack them because I feel its the defence is where there weakness remains, whereas sitting back simply allows their better players to get on the ball.

I can't see us keeping a clean sheet, otherwise I would say we had a chance of winning.  It's either a one mil defeat or a draw for me.

Were just consistent at giving soft goals away.

Does anyone know why we’re playing Man U for the second time before playing Watford once? I thought everyone played everyone once to complete the first half of the season before continuing to the second half.

it's because that oumaumua

thing that's drifting across our solar system, has created a time warp.

we will win

we got him sacked this time 2 years ago so logicly we will beat him and get him sacked agian.

after all if bristol can we can.

We cannot win this by trying to beat these at their own game; slow, possession based football.

We need to outwork teams to give us an edge, and Im not sure that Puel will do that which will give us our best chance; high tempo and attack from the start is what is required.

Therefore I am not confident of a positive outcome.

Like we are compared to Palace. Certainly a Palace team managed by Roy Hodgson.

Yes, I’m still pissed off by it and regards to that game the excuses were bullshit, roles are reversed this time.

The gap in quality between us and palace is small. A negligible difference.

The difference between man utd to us sadly is much bigger.

Atleast there will be no petty, bullshit excuses then.

Watford is the boxing day game and all boxing day games are hand picked because of travel limitations.

Both Huddersfield and Oldham fans going to their next away matches are the ones I feel most sorry for here, the former playing at Southampton and the latter heading to Plymouth..

That is a bit harsh for sure.

I know its difficult to travel to plymouth but usually its logical. oldham used to have forest a lot on boxing day games.

Constructing the fixture list is however a complete nightmare

                 Mahrez

          Okazaki                  Vardy

With games coming up, think this team could do a job on United.

Amartey and draga looked solid enough in the week, rest up Wes, amartey may offer more on the overlap, and got to reward fringe players who come in and performance, to send a message out to those on the fringes, and those starting

I like that line up,. I'd also like to see Albrighton for Chilwell and Gray because he can stretch them, But we'd lose Okazaki's combative element. So save Gray for 2nd Half.

We know they are beatable if we can just not be so wasteful with the Ball. After the Week we've had a draw would be a good result.

We played them Boxing Day and early February. The away fixture was the first of 3 successive games in which we didn't score, followed by 0-0 home draws with Citeh and Bournemouth, I think. Someone might like to verify my memory, I've not checked.

So no excuses.

If we were as poor as we were against Palace for those reasons...

I realise it was a weakened team last night but still 1 or 2 that’ll be involved at the weekend.

Or are we just gonna hide behind our own excuses of “We played an extra 30 minutes on Tuesday”?

Mmmm our flight from southampton was delayed.  But when i drive to Southampton it only takes 2 hours... why are we flying?

This is correct.

We are playing Watford on Boxing Day and again on 20th January, just 3 weeks later.

The season before we also played Liverpool on 02 December and 01 January. They love putting us against Liverpool at the Xmas/NY period!

Think albrighton for Okazaki and youve got it. Can't see Shinji starting after mid week.
