I find it hard to take part in Deathlist as I don't like predicting fatal harm to harmless people, still less people I approve of (e.g. I hear Mark E. Smith of The Fall is in poor health, but could never predict his demise). I was considering a list of people nobody would miss - and Mugabe would have featured if you'd not got him first!

He comes across as a genuinely decent bloke, though that may be naivety on my part. Now, his uncles Andrew & Edward, however....

Before Xmas he was still performing with The Fall but from a wheelchair with one arm apparently immobile, looking very ill yet in surprisingly strong voice. A US tour for the New Year has been cancelled. Here's hoping he can fight off whatever's up with him. Certainly not a man to give up easily, you'd suspect - Satan would have to take him kicking and fighting all the way....
