I don’t remember much about him but some of the tributes this morning from his former team mates are heart breaking. That’s no age and such sad news.

When he dies, can just imagine a big celebration of relief after too many years of him at the helm at the expense of the poor civilians.
Wymsey Posted 21 February 2018 Posted 21 February 2018 Sylvester Stallone hasn't died.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-43130898
RODNEY FERNIO Posted 24 February 2018 Posted 24 February 2018 Emma Chambers ... the dizzy assistant of Dawn French in the Vicar of Dibley has passed away. Only 53 and died from natural causes ... didn't think that was possible at that age.
Fox92 Posted 25 February 2018 Posted 25 February 2018 Just read about Emma Chambers. Sad. So young. Her role and acting in Vicar of Dibley is brilliant.

Are not cancer, heart disease stroke etc natural causes?

Lucky for him that he ran all those mile races. If he'd walked 500 miles, like the Proclaimers, we wouldn't be talking about him now.
Parafox Posted 4 March 2018 Posted 4 March 2018 He made history, he was knighted for his sporting achievements in athletics. Undoubtedly a shining light and an inspiration for so many athletes. Everyone dies. I dread reading FT when HM The Queen carks it.

Izzy Posted 12 March 2018 Posted 12 March 2018 Boring fact of the day: My Dad's golf partner (now in his 70's) was a tax man for the revenue and part of the prosecution team that charged Dodd for tax fraud. Favorite Ken Dodd joke: What a beautiful day for pouring a tin of whitewash over the pigeons in Trafalgar square and asking "How do you like it?"
Crinklyfox Posted 12 March 2018 Posted 12 March 2018 Most will remember Ken Dodd as a comedian but he was also a successful singer. 'Tears' was one of the best selling singles of the 60s. He was also loved by millions of children for his TV series with the Diddymen. RIP.
SpacedX Posted 12 March 2018 Posted 12 March 2018 The whole of Liverpool is in mourning over his demise. They're pretty upset about Doddy too.
Crinklyfox Posted 14 March 2018 Posted 14 March 2018 Stephen Hawking - the term 'inspiration' is over-used but in his case it's exactly what he was.
Fox92 Posted 14 March 2018 Posted 14 March 2018 Astonishing and inspirational man. RIP Stephen Hawking.
