Training ground overhaul and ground expansion before we start dropping!

I read dropping as doping, was going to say its a bit late for that.

Barcelona below Leipzig lol eh?

Guessing that's purely down to the 'potential investment'.

Expand the King Power and capitalise then! Struggling to fathom who on earth we haven't started yet. Shouldve been in planning halfway through the title season. 38-42,000 is needed, not just wanted!

No chance we would regularly fill 38-42k based on the way this seasons match tickets are selling.Of course for the big matches we would sell out but do we want 5000-7000 empty seats regularly. How many do you think we would sell for Watford the next home game if we had a 42000 capacity.?

The rankings are explained in the original post, it's Soccerex's way of putting the club's wealth or squad value up against the club's debts. Barcelona have a relatively low number there due to heavy financial burdens.

Yep I got that but I still expected them to be higher as they have been classed as the biggest club in the world for several years by many . Add to this winning  god knows how many titles and trophies and everything  that goes with it . I still would have thought they would be higher

They're counting in last years champions league money, that's not likely to happen again any time soon. Its just a statistical quirk, we're not 1 of the top 20 clubs in the world.

No, but that's not what the list is to be fair.

Top 20 financial powerhouses in football. It's a nice headline but we shouldn't take it seriously anymore than we should when we slip to 35th or whatever next year.

a heck of a lot more than current capacity.

Look at the jump over the past 15-20 years. Id expect that to rise. Time to invest while we can. Leicester and Leicestershire population wise is on the up and we must capitalize.

As per previous post, still not sold out and went on general sale on the 11th December, so clearly not a heck of a lot more than current capacity.I think we overestimate our crowd pulling potential in non title chasing/ Champions seasons.

we didn't sell out every single game at filbert street and yet jumped straight to 30,000 +.

Im confident that average attendance would be 38,000+ in a 42,000 seater which is worth it short term then continue building.

As for Watford, no offence but its Watford. The attendance for that fixture will still top 30,500-31,000. People want better seats and more than just 1's and 2's in garbage areas unless its a prestigious fixture.

Our average this season has dropped slightly due to a few shite away followings from Palace, west brom and palace. Consequent sales to our fans then handled poorly. In my opinion we shouldn't be giving out 9/10% automatically every fixture.

Yeh right, been on general sale nearly a month and still not quite sold out.

I take your point to an extent, but General Sale is a slight misnomer - you have to avidly follow the site, many don't have access, many aren't even basic members, and one cannot get 2 seats together now - it might not bother me, but it would bother a lot of people.

I'd like our stadium to be able to cater for people who want to make a late decision to come to the game - that's how new fans can be won over. I think a lot of people just don't bother trying, and I can confirm from the last 2/3 seasons, it takes a fair amount of nerdery and willingness to be online checking to get tickets at all, be it via GS or at the last minute from exchange sites.

Got to agree with some of the above posts on the ground size .  I would guess a fair few people don’t  really check general sale tickets any more as for a long time they have been few and far between  and the ones you can get are either singles or not the best seats . I have a few friends who haven’t been for years due to other commitments of one kind or another but have had the odd time they could of gone on the spur of the moment as plans have changed but not been able to as no tickets were readily available .

What's happening next year?

Their Royal Warrant runs out.

The sole supply concessions to operate duty free shops have already expired in all major airports but no other Thai company will bid against a royal warrant.....until it runs out.

I'm not sure how reliable their sources are but these are interesting.

Our players salaries

http://www.spotrac.com/epl/leicester-city/home/

Our highest earners are obviously Mshrez and Vardy, both just under  £110,000 a week.

Musa is on more than Okazaki.

Maguire and Benalouane are on the same wage (£43,000 a week). Even Huth earns less than Benalouane ffslol Benny is stealing a living here.

Gray is on twice as much as Chilwell, despite neither being nailed on starters. Goes to show Gray has a better agent.

It’s not a simply question of selling another 10,000 match tickets though- we could easily shift 6,000+ extra season tickets, the big games would still sell out and we’ve got room to grow over the next few years, meaning the next generation don’t find it impossible to get tickets- we can give a couple of thousand away to schools every week for all I care, as they will be paying to come back through the gates in 10 years. It’s a system which worked for Derby, they’re now getting some of the best attendances in the Championship these days.

Saying ‘yeah but Watford wouldn’t sell out next week’ is a thoroughly short-sighted view.
