Silva was so overrated this game. I don't blame him, you can't carry a team on your back, but people here are blinded by the hype on him.

 

If he had a good game, Puel wouldn't have subbed him off before the hour mark. 

 

No one played worse than the other, no one played better than the other. Was a terrible game.

This game just shows that we massively overpaid for a few players and that the players waiting in the wings are not good enough at all.

 

You can have 1/2 players having an off game we had 9/10 players doing that today.

 

Too many average squad players who won’t make a mark in the Premiership and are Championship standard players.

 

When we are with our strongest 11 we can be a very decent side, once we variate from that we look distinctly average.

 

Think this was Puel saying we need massive improvement in the quality of our squad overall.

Musa is bad, slimani is terrible, nacho is overrated, ulloa is spent and now Silva is overrated. See a pattern?  Do we have to wait for Messi to flop at Leicester to realize that our system designed for only Vardy and Mahrez to shine?  Everybody else is a workhorse.

We just didn't click. Funny what the FA Cup can do, but we at least didn't lose.

thought that was our worst performance for years i think the city fans should get there money back who went. we looked like a a average championship side on that perfomance i know the pitch was difficult but shows the players are spoilt playing on good pitches. the lack of quality on display was pitiful and shape of side was non existent it goes to show we need to improve this squad soon or we could be in big trouble if mirez goes in the window

Team of strangers to one another..some who hadnt played a competitive match for at least 6 months.

Tight pitch..very bobbly..Yet until the 89th minute the nearest we came to conceding was a back pass.

We were not good going forward,but cant say i was that surprised. Fleetwood were well organised and were  up for it.

Thought it was brave/reckless of Puel to give much needed game time to so many. Probably wanted to get a look at them in a competitive scenario.

In truth that’s about right ...   11 strangers on the pitch at a farty little ground and a bobbly pitch against a team of fired up cloggers ...     CP couldn’t risk more injuries to our more skilful and/or ‘delicate’ players so didn’t have a lot of choice.  Good chance for him to watch individuals and hopefully learnt something ..    like Benny the Looney really is sh1t.     And we didn’t lose.   Need to bury them early at our place then get the ‘stars’ off and back in their cotton wool boxes ready for the real games.

Gave the entire side a 3 although I've probably just done Jakupovic a huge dis-service there. Mind you his distribution was terrible.

 

Fleetwood a 5. Thought they were good for a League One side but you can't go overboard when we've played like that and they haven't beat us.

 

Referee a 4. Biased towards them throughout.

IF U WERE WATCHING A FOOTBALL GAME FOR THE 1st time u would have thought fleet wood were the premier league side, we were disgraceful, when the hell is the manager going to step in and tell these highly paid players that they need to be able to control the ball and past it to a team mate, it was really frustrating to watch such a shit game.

The bloke hasn’t kick a ball in 6 months, so I don’t know what people was expecting, so I suggest puel gave him 60 minutes as part of his fitness program, yes his fit from training, but big difference from being match fit.

 

 Agree terrible game, and glad that isn’t our first team, I also think the attitude was wrong, it’s like they treated it as a pre season friendly, lazy and going through the motions
