Jakupovic 6 - Didn’t do anything wrong

Amartey 3 - Rubbish

Dragovic 5 - Ok

Benalouane 2 - How many times did he lose the tall player?

Chilwell 5 - Ok

King 5 - Ok

James 4 - Not in it

Silva 6 - Quality player in a poor team

Gray 4 - Ok

Barnes 3 - Meh

Slimani 3 - Meh

Surprised people thought Jakupovic did his job ok. Didn't have a save to make. All he needed to do was put in some half decent distribution but it was utterly atrocious, passed it straight to the opposition inviting them back for another attack time and time again.

Gave Jakupovic 7, all the defenders a 6 bat Dragovic who lost a point for nearly scoring at the wrong end, most others 4 except Silva who got 3.

 

Gave Fleetwood 4, they were also shit and should have stuffed us.

I'll let Silva off because it's his first game for months. Benalouane was awful in the first half but made a couple of good tackles in the second, Dragovic dealt with most things barring the backpass. Chilwell and Gray decent in the first half and faded in the second, Jakupovic was alright. The rest offered nothing at all to remember.

 

The team can have a 2 as a group.

Don't agree with a 2 for Benny at all. He was probably our MotM; he's the only one of our players who showed any quality (except in passing!), passion, or desire to do well. Silva probably doesn't deserve a 6. King is just a total waste of space now. Otherwise, I think those scores were pretty spot on.

Jakup 5 - Looked low on confidence, did what he needed to when it mattered

 

Amartey 3 - Not solid by any means, early on in the second half got skinned after jumping on the inside of the ball for no reason when he couldve held position or just stuck a foot in. Nought going forwards either

Benny 6.5 - Reasonably solid, did his job.

Drago 5 - Looked shakey, gave them a few opportunities and an error with the first half pass back.

Chilly 4 - They tried to give him the odd boot or two and he stood up to it. Nothing going forwards though

 

Barnes 3 - Lads been on a bender lastnight evidently, very little going forwards and ponderous in possession. Worryingly couldnt impose himself on a level lower than he's been playing all season. Can't be loaned out again

James 3 - Stomped around abit, got in the way of their play but didnt win possession often and not alot going forwards.

King 4 - Relatively clean in possession, helped the defence abit but left space. Nothing going forwards and that shot was so lazy, he had space to shift it and lace it.

Adrien 5 - Ran around alot, almost like he'd been sat twiddling his thumbs for a few months . . . good attitude

Gray 5 - Mehh. BBC bigged him up, dont think he offered alot attacking wise. Helped out Chilly well though

 

Slim 3 - If he was told to play for a draw and look angsty doing so, he did his job. Really didnt do enough to get himself into it, got handled by League 1 CB's

 

Shinji 6 - Put in the work, his game will pay off at any level

Albrighton 3 - Dint add much, gave ball away sloppily a few times. Come off the bench to put in a couple abject performances this season

Nacho N/A

 

Puel 5 - Team shoulda been good enough. Selection wise he did alright and a big call to play Barnes as he cant be loaned out again and should be getting game time

Gave everyone a 5 apart from Dragovic who I gave 6. Silva gave some nice passes to players that just hoofed it. Think he will be great with decent players around him.

Overall though we were dire!

Amarty, unfortunatly the ball turns into a balloon when he touches it.

The others were only marginally better.

I agree with his 6. A few very very decent tackles and his positioning was very good. He loses points because his passing was absolutely shocking
