Claridge Posted 11 January 2018 Posted 11 January 2018 Anyone watching sky with Upson and Sherwood. Just said sources are saying manure are in for vardy

Molson Canadian Posted 11 January 2018 Posted 11 January 2018 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/01/11/manchester-united-target-alexis-sanchez-jamie-vardy-javier-hernandez/ Vardy would be the most expensive of the three at around £35m - even if the Srivaddhanaprabha family who own Leicester were prepared to sanction him leaving. The Englishman would be eligible to play in the Champions League and, although a very different player to Lukaku, would guarantee goals. Having signed a new contract in the summer of 2016 amid strong interest from Arsenal, it would require the Srivaddhanaprabha patriarch Vichai to give the deal his blessing.
FantasticMrFox&Son Posted 11 January 2018 Posted 11 January 2018 Would be a massive move for Vards, but I hope it doesn't happen. Started watching him at Halifax in the Northern Premier, pace to burn even as a kid.
An Away Move Posted 11 January 2018 Posted 11 January 2018 If you were Vardy would you blame him? That's a big move. He's priceless to us though, but how long as got left speed wise? He has lived an amazing dream with us though. I could see him staying and becoming a one (Prem) club man. Is the latter naive thinking?
Guest seanfox778 Posted 11 January 2018 Posted 11 January 2018 I think Vardy and Mourinho would hate each other. Please don't go Jamie
Chrysalis Posted 11 January 2018 Posted 11 January 2018 published by a tabloid with no sources quoted = speculation = not reliable
surrifox Posted 11 January 2018 Posted 11 January 2018 A sticking plaster to cover mourinho wasting 75 million on a non scoring donkey
alanf0x Posted 11 January 2018 Posted 11 January 2018 £35 million!! Hahaha let's start talking at £50+
Strokes Posted 11 January 2018 Posted 11 January 2018 £35 million is a good fee for a 31 year old striker. Obviously I’d rather he stays here but I’d understand if we cashed in. 2
chapero82 Posted 11 January 2018 Posted 11 January 2018 As much as I love Vards! I couldn’t blame him if he wanted to go! It’s his last big chance! 1

Popular Post Heymister2015 Posted 11 January 2018 Popular Post Posted 11 January 2018 If it was £35m it would be a no brainer for vardy and Leicester. As a club we need to freshen up and move on from the title team. We have a really nice group coming through with Maguire, Chilwell, gray, Ndidi etc. So it certainly wouldnt be the end of the world 1 1 6

I think not 10
FantasticMrFox&Son Posted 11 January 2018 Posted 11 January 2018 Nothing stays the same, you can't hold the clock back. Everything changes and evolves, one day Vards will hang up his boots. Good luck to him IF the story is true, he will be an IMMEDIATE hit with the fans but he will be working for a C*N£ of a manager. Wish him well and want him to stay.
Chrysalis Posted 11 January 2018 Posted 11 January 2018 I think he thinks we a development club, starting players like nacho and selling the likes of vardy.
Vardinio'sCat Posted 11 January 2018 Posted 11 January 2018 (edited) Sheppyfox has already assured me that Vards has lost reaction time, acceleration and top speed, so it is a sell from me! Edited 11 January 2018 by Vardinio'sCat 3

ozleicester Posted 12 January 2018 Posted 12 January 2018 Imagine if we were to lose Mahrez and Vards in one window
Finnegan Posted 12 January 2018 Posted 12 January 2018 Nobody's going in January tbh. There's really no reason for us to sell. We're definitely not going to sell the only striker that the manager trusts. 2
jayfox26 Posted 12 January 2018 Posted 12 January 2018 I very much doubt this will happen. Vardy not likely to force a move and the owners will not sell him in January. And come the summer, I doubt United will want him. Can't see us selling anyone in Jan. Mahrez is most likely to leave but I reckon we'll hold out till the summer for him. If in was the owners I'd just say Vardy, Mahrez and Maguire are all £70m each if you want them in Jan. Can't see anyone paying that!
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 12 January 2018 Posted 12 January 2018 Last time we had Champions League football as justification for keeping him. If a bigger club came calling this time then I don't think he'd want to stay. People forget the way he was playing that first half of the season after we won the title - he was playing like a man who was regretting the decision he'd just made.
