Iborra still looked a little rusty to me which is understandable, he needed a little while to shake off his injury earlier in the season and then looked a class act afterwards.

Pleased for Iheanacho who took both goals really well, Silva grew into the game and carries the ball brilliantly, and Jakupovic made a couple of decent stops.

Be nice to blood in a youngster at CB instead of Benalouane who we're clearly trying to move on, mind.

Nacho's alive!

What a relief he is off the mark, I hope he gets more playing time now he looks like he is actually trying.

Im really pleased for him, but deep down I’m not sure that he will fit in ..   2 goals yes, but against Fleetwood  ?! ...   he has talent ..   and I hope I’m completely wrong.

We were terrible against Huddersfield for 50 odd minutes. It was far from fine and the way they rolled over after our first goal just serves to paper over the cracks.

I personally think poor performances have more to do with bad tactics and bad players. The tactics against Chelsea were correct, they were non-existent at Fleetwood, and tonight we had several duds on the pitch.

I don’t think a comfortable win against a lower league side should paper over the cracks further. We’re lacking quality in depth up front and at the back. Our tactics change dramatically from match to match, which is very strange.

Hopefully, we will see a repeat of the display at Chelsea regularly from now on, rather than the other crap we’ve been served up by two managers for most of this season, which has hardly quickened the pulse in terms of entertainment.

We got through the tie in the end but the fact it took us one and a half matches to register on a shot on target against a League One side shows we got away with it a bit and I think alarm and displeasure was rightly displayed on the match thread until we got the all important first goal.

Cool, except Iborra played more forwards passes than anyone else on the pitch, being 64 out of his 98 passes (65%).

Next...

How dare you use facts and statistics.  Pure, unadulterated bile based upon wot we reckon we seen on the fvcking pitch but said with complete conviction is what we do on Foxestalk thank you very much. X

When was the last time we kept four consecutive clean sheets?

Must've been around March/ April 2016 when we won 1-0 four times in a row.

Nacho has a future here for sure, if we can get him service he will be ace! Slim out the door ideally I think.

Hopefully, both team and the player would benefit.

Honestly one of the weirdest posts I have seen on here in  along time and I've seen some absolute stinkers. X

Iheanacho started off a bit tentatively but those well taken goals will do him the power of good.  Yet again Iborra stood out to me - what a player.  As the game progressed Silva also came more into it and showed how good he could be for us.

Benalouane is still a bomb scare!

Sloppy first half, they made it awkward for us which was to be expected, much better and what I expected in the second half. First time I've seen Iheanacho really do something, worked hard with two classy finishes, especially the second. Silva looked good, so did Dragovic. Benalouane is shocking, no class or quality about his game even though he tries lol

Got stronger the longer it went on but I suppose that's what the insurance of a lead does to you. Thought up until we got our first we'd been appalling throughout the entire tie both home and away.

Iheanacho I'm still unconvinced by but got to give him credit for two good finishes, and that one he had ruled out showed his instinct. The problem with him is I worry that he'll be a bit too much of a luxury in a side that simply doesn't create enough.

Thought Silva was by a mile the best player on the park.

Always difficult to negotiate these fixtures..... out everyone behind the ball and compact to try and stop you from playing. Otherwise we negotiated it rather well. Nice to see Nacho on the score sheet, certainly offers more than Slimani whom frankly is wank.

Iborra is just class, pisses it.... so to suggest other is retarded. He and Iborra moves well but against PL opposition would probably need a third player in there to allow them the freedom of running the game... I’d love to see a 4-3-3 with N’didi in there too....

Just a shame Jon Moss is associated with it

No, it's a good thing. Moss has got his name down in history now, he'll forever have a soft spot for Leicester and particularly nacho, he'll want to ref here as often as possible and will bring his family, standing waving at them from the spot where he made the decision to go to VAR during the match. He will comment to nacho, 'hey remember when I made history just here'. He'll never send another Leicester player off again and will always look favourably upon us, you watch.

Nice to see Rob Kelly today, looks like he's  assistant at Fleetwood. Love the guy!!!!

Was a steady performance with lots of positives to take away. The second half was good, professional and saw some of our players get much needed match sharpness, I'm pleased for Nacho and Silva.

Thank god that we wanted it in the second half, first half was drab and we were lucky to not be behind. Iborra really struggled, still undecided on whether he is right for this team. And the 1st half confirmed what I was talking about yesterday, tippy tappy slow build up football is easily stiffled by even a league 1 defence parking the bus, it wasn't until we were more positive on the ball and drove forward via Gray and Silva that we looked dangerous. We must be quicker and more direct on the ball, otherwise the opposition has too much time to shape the defence.

Overall, a good performance, but still lots to do on reshaping this squad and fine tuning our style of play.

Benny must go, he is awful! Amartey is also shakey, his ball control is pretty poor. We need a few additions in Jan/summer to replace the dead wood.
