Someone mentioned Mark De Vries above, I think at the time that was about the best we could hope for, and anyone who sounded vaguely exciting (foreign names etc.) or under 30 would get interest. A couple of signings I did rate were Marcus Bent and Ben Thatcher, but 2005 onwards was dire. 1
