I'm pretty glad that I wasn't able to watch us much then as I thought he was meant to be really good and I kind of latched onto him as my new favourite lol

Worst bit about this thread.... there’s 18 year olds reading it who genuinely might not have a clue who the **** Peter Canero is.....

I feel old lol

I’ll be honest I’m 20 and don’t remember seeing him play, I’ve been on here 8 years now though and seen his name mentioned enough times

This guy is going to be a superstar. Hopefully we go after that Joe Hammill from Hearts too, looks made for the English game.

If Slimani or Ulloa do leave I’d be tempted to go for that big black striker who looks more like an NFL player. Mark De fries or something like that.

That guy's scored bags of goals in the Scottish top flight - must be quality.

To be fair you were 6 when he played. So I wouldn’t expect you to remember him!

Fun times back in 04 lol

Add highly-rate full-back Robbie Neilson and talented Rab Douglas in goal to the mix, they're both quality.

I'm not sure why I posted this, but I guess it shows how far we've come. Someone mentioned Mark De Vries above, I think at the time that was about the best we could hope for, and anyone who sounded vaguely exciting (foreign names etc.) or under 30 would get interest.

A couple of signings I did rate were Marcus Bent and Ben Thatcher, but 2005 onwards was dire.
