I'm gonna miss Frank when this thing gets built.

They will probably disappear and end up buried under Top's patio.*

*This is a joke and not a threat to anyone whatever their opinion of the training ground.

Hopeful of a positive decision tonight. Just to confirm, the Highways Agency, Environmental people, council planners and anyone else actually relevant do not have issues with the plans? It's just Frank and a couple of his mates with unfounded objections?

Some interesting replies to Frank and the traffic consultant have now been posted. Basically shooting them down in flames!

im sure we’ll get a decision tonight!

"In conclusion, Curtins are an award winning, national engineering consultancy that work on some of the most complex projects across the UK. All of the analysis submitted has been prepared using industry standard, best practice methodologies agreed with the statutory bodies. The information has then been reviewed by Highways Officers at LCC, Highways England and Highways England’s Consultants Aecom. All are content with the methodology and results and offer no objection. The technical experts are all in agreement that the traffic and transport impacts will not be severe and these views should carry significant weight when considering the correspondence received from FRANK."

Once this is approved when should we expect to be moving in?

We very much hope to secure planning permission at Planning
Committee tomorrow, allowing works to commence without delay and for the facility to be open ahead of

They may well benefit from flyover but not because of the training ground but because it's a shitty junction anyway but that's down to LCC and the Highways and their available budgets against other priorities which they've deemed not justifiable. There's no justification that LCFC should pay for one just because they are considered rich.

Lcfc would have paid tho. That's the thing and the main objector is just pissed he sold the golf course and then the club came along and paid about 5 times more 18 months or whatever it was later.

He was meant to pay for a flyover himself under the original plans and got out of it from what I understand.
