Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 13 March 2018 Posted 13 March 2018 Shouldn't really laugh but reading the headline Jeff Astle’s widow hit by missile 'thrown by rival Leicester City fan' during West Brom clash and scrolling down to see this... That's quite a missile 1

Ashley Posted 13 March 2018 Posted 13 March 2018 Not sure I believe everything in this article. 1. Why were they sitting next to the away fans(being us). 2. Why haven't West Brom accommodated a Legend of the club with better seating away from any potential conflict? 3. It happens in Football, sorry to say but yes it does.

Not saying they don't have a right to give it the full banana but they were aggressive which winds some of our lot up. Not condoning but thought the intimidating atmosphere was not all one way. Ah sorry, thought we were talking about this post.
Frontrow Posted 13 March 2018 Posted 13 March 2018 I have been to many away games, but the “fans” at the side of me did nothing but stand with their backs to the game in our faces and taunt the WB fans with their foul language (and I mean foul) and w....ker gestures throughout the game. They were so drink they fell over One stood on the seats so no one could see and oh how I was hoping he would fall off. They missed one of the goals completely and came back long after half time with bottles. They continued their true fan behaviour and left before the end missing another goal Completely ruined what should have been a brilliant game for me. Before I get called a purist I enjoy a few glasses too before the game, but I felt ashamed of these “fans” 3

All clubs are guilty of it, you score a goal and give it the big one to the opposition fans in an attempt to wind them up. Seems obvious that's what he's suggesting, rather than people got angry about people just celebrating a goal. 1

About 8 o clock the Villa & Wolves fans were sporadically battling away around New street & in the Shakespeare pub. We've lost WBA away next season but Wolves away won't be no love in. Was also Brum fans coming back from Cardiff. Six arrests on Saturday, that takes some doing in this era. Edited 13 March 2018 by Cardiff_Fox

From what I can tell, you think I'm as bad as some cretin who throws missiles, because I made light of the fact a newspaper attempted to make out someone was hit by a missile, when it really just bounced onto them. This, despite the fact I and everyone else has already slated the morons in the other thread that had been running all day. Not really a surprise, because I know who you are and you've always been a bit slow. Another one onto the ignore list. Edited 13 March 2018 by Babylon

Their family has lifelong season tickets in that end and all the singers (and yobs) used to be in the stand at the other end of the ground until they decided to move next to the away fans for "Bantz" 1
RonnieTodger Posted 13 March 2018 Posted 13 March 2018 Amazing how many of these objects thrown hit women and children. They're like magnets. In all seriousness, if you do throw anything at someone in the other end because they support a different team to you, you're a twat. 2
waylander Posted 13 March 2018 Posted 13 March 2018 Rather have a lighter hit me on the shoulder that scouse spit in my eye. 1

No it's ok to do that cos some ex man u bloke says so. Having said that the Leicester dickhead must have had a blunderbuss given the amount of people who were hit around this woman.

You might get called "elitist".
weller54 Posted 13 March 2018 Posted 13 March 2018 Strike a light!!.. Are people still going on about this!!?
Wymsey Posted 13 March 2018 Posted 13 March 2018 She should have reported it to the nearest steward (if she hadn't already) and not gloat about it online.
