Morgan playing or not Playing,is not out major Problem.

I do believe Drago would strengthen out Bline,I also believe if Drago doesnt sign up

for next season,it would be interesting if Moore (out on loan),can step up.

Morgan ,IMO should be next seasons cover,not 1st choice,if he cant accept that,

then ,we should accept "that", and inform him we wont stand in his way,if he wants to

move on!! I would prefer however if this legend does stay.

 

I dont believe the stories,of player power,or individuals demands, browbeating and threatening, any level

Of our management,to guarrantee 1st choice etc.They or he will have their input even disgreements

but not more !! Plus for their own reasons,coaching and management staff are selecting Morgan

over Drago .There doesnt always have to be a Drama.

In Chasing the negative, ,one often misses out on the simple obvious,especially on Forums.

On the subject of Morgan, he needs phasing out. Not good enough and I just know we will persist with him next season. All this captain  this and captain that. John Terry got phased out at Chelsea. It happens.

 

We have a quality international sitting on the bench.

 

I've heard it's because he didn't want to commit. I'm sorry we have to show why we want him. We should be trying to persuade him to come to Leicester and play him games. Not drop him from the team when the captain returns. If this happened and he didn't want to sign, then that's life. Either way we are still looking for Morgan's replacement in the summer. 

 

When we have the option to buy a very good CB, we should be making him feel welcomed and wanting to stay in Leicester. He's not going to play for us now, is he? Such bad management from Puel.

 

Played Dragovic until the end of the season with Maguire = he stays. CB sorted

Played Dragovc until the end of the season with Maguire = he rejects us. We find another replacement for Morgan.

Morgan and Maguire = Dragovic rejects us. We find another replacement for Morgan.

The other scenario that Dragovic stays despite being dropped for Morgan, I'd find incredible if that happened.

 

We've missed out on a decent CB on the cheap.

It's lose/lose for us. If Dragovic looked a star he'd want a better club like the Alderweireld situation a few years a go when he was on loan at Southampton.

 

People really big Dragovic up and talk Morgan down on here but for me I think Morgan edges him for his strength and physicality. Dragovic is a good defender but a bit lightweight for a centre half IMO.  I don't think he's a good enough upgrade on Morgan to spend big money on him.

Also as long as the top clubs don't make a move for Jonny Evans we should be in the box seat for the player.

 

We were interested in him at around £25m last season and will be available for £3m this summer.  He would be an upgrade on both Morgan and Dragovic. Maybe a big club will try and pick him up for that price as a squad player but if he wants regular football he comes here as first choice to partner Maguire.

Honestly Morgan starting when we have Maguire and Schmeichel in the side is baffling. Its clear both these have as much influence as him already. Give them more?

 

Adrien Silva was captain for Sporting for ages. He's also captained Portugal before I believe.

 

Vardy and Mahrez aren't captain material IMO.

morgan, huth, fuchs dragovic don't need to be at the club after this summer, need to start phasing in the youth and perhaps sign one experienced head on a cheap someone like Evans who is available for next to nothing. 

 

Although i'd argue Vardy could be a good captain now coming into his later years, I feel it needs to be either a defender or goalkeeper in my eyes as Captain. Maguire would have to be my current shout.

I know we don't have any of the facts about what goes on in the dressing room but it's pretty obvious that the players have a fair bit of power and have dictated certain things over the past few years. To pass it off as just 'giving their input' is a little naive. 

 

In a way, especially under Ranieri I respected it. It came across as though they cared about the club, the direction it was going and wanted to push on from the title win and under Ranieri (and the players of course) we were going down. Now it may just be the media view on it now but it does come across as though they simply throw their dummies if they don't like a new method or tactic. Which you can't respect.

I think running with the press,Chasing juicy stories,is also Naive.

Disrupt the Club,and you have seen,where the owners,stand.

Throwing out dummies,they are footballers,!!! Nature of the beast

Still along way off,play this or that way or dont Like the manager,

we'll "cut of out noses to spite our face" antics. So we dont play to out potential.

I'm not convinced there's much to choose between Morgan & Dragovic. I feel Dragovic is a bit better on the ball but thats about it. I think right back along and a number 10 are more of a concern.

Not too happy with left back either but we're stronger there than right back in my view.

Not now,but beginning of next season.He has time to show what he can do.

No use Güssing. These guys want in!! Lets see what he can do.

He has u18+ u20 ,international caps behind him.

So replace Wes with another 'oldie' in Evans?   Cracking idea.

I had forgotten about Elliot,  I had Liam stuck in my mind. Liam has had a very good year for Reading by the way

hes 4 years younger and has a hell of a lot of experience at a top club like Man Utd... so yes it is probably a good idea.
