In fairness richarlison is a 50M player and taller, stronger, faster and more skillful than iheanacho who was overpriced at over 20M.

 

In addition Everton have far better players in support.

I think they've been pretty poor in the transfer windows but the £50m buy seems to be doing okay. Who have we spent £50m on?

Absolutely, there's no way that wasn't a yellow card challenge. Add that to the offside call on the goal, and suffice to say you've been shafted a bit by reffing decisions.

I think you're comparing the wrong team as far as spending and over-spending goes. Our net spend is way less than theirs.

In general, they spend about the same as we do - except for last year, which is probably bearing fruit now.  (They spent 182m last year compared to our 79m - all other years (since we came up) are fairly similar amounts between us.)
