StanSP Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 Traore proving totally ineffectual, once again. Firmly placed in the category of 'how on earth is he at a Premier League club?'

Firmly placed in the category of 'how on earth is he at a Premier League club?' Nuno keeps trying him through the middle up top and it blatantly doesn't work. Purely came from bringing him on there away at Arsenal, which did work as we were countering much more.

Seems to be an obsession with some managers to force certain players into a central striker role, when it clearly doesn't work. Hodgson with Zaha is one. Klopp is trying it with Salah, who until yesterday seemed less effective and it was effecting Firmino's game too. Sometimes pushing a winger up front doesn't work, unless it Ronaldo.

BenTheFox Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 That Morgan Gibbs-White looks one hell of a young player.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 Surely that was an elbow by Bolly? Game should have stopped regardless as it was a head injury

I don’t think it needs to have intent if it endangers a players safety does it? I don’t know the law off the top of my head but surely something should be given for a swinging reckless elbow

Wolves, quite rightly, get some great plaudits about their style and play .... whereas our team gets some right abuse on this forum, especially the manager .. yet we are actually above you in the table. Weird.
StanSP Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 Oh that's rubbish for Newcastle. Thought they'd done well to keep it level despite being down to 10. They could have defended that 2nd goal better though. Someone had to close Jota down.
Super_horns Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 And they lost the bsll cheaply in attack too .
Jattdogg Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 Wolves find a way to win. Lucky but cant do well without some of that! True geordie probably will explode
TheUltimateWinner Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 Gutted for Newcastle tbh thought they did very well
Tuna Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 Yeah bit of a sickener for Newcastle. 7 home defeats already this season!

Vacamion Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 Who was that Newcastle player strolling in midfield when they lost the ball? Shocking.
Matt Posted 9 December 2018 Posted 9 December 2018 'Wolvesalona' go level on points with us.. Doing well ain't they.
