Lesson learned.  Use ALL CAPS and get proved wrong.     :nigel:

Best result for us...stay 9th and only 2 points behind Everton....time for a beer to celebrate ??

The alternative view is we're one less point ahead of Watford.  PUEL OUT  lol

Definitely. Could you see our current side going to Goodison and getting a win? I couldn't.

Although Watford haven't managed it either :D Very very unlucky.

We need to spend big and spend right:thumbup:

Just goes to show that outside the top 6, mid-table is so hard to call.

We've beaten Watford.
Watford and Everton draw.

Everton have beaten us.
Watford beat Brighton
Brighton beat Wolves.
Everton beat Brighton.
We draw with Brighton.
Wolves beat West Ham.

Bournemouth beat Watford.
We beat Wolves.

That's just off the top of my head (some may be incorrect therefore!).

But just emphasises how tight it can be from 7th to 13th (ish).

I intend trialling this excuse with my wife tonight. I'll let you know how I get on.

That was annoying - silly free kick to give and just knew it would go in (somebody always scores their first goal against us)

Everton will point to the fact they scored for us and missed a penalty whilst we will say the first was offside and the defender could have gone in the first half.

So maybe a draw was fair!

fu cking hell bro try all you like to make it sound exciting but it’s fu cking rubbish. all of those teams are absolute garbage and it’s so depressing that we can’t put two or three positive results together and establish ourselves as better than all these jarg clubs.

I know mate. Was purely an observation really, not made out of excitement. It makes it even more frustrating that we can't get some kind of momentum or consistency going to get ahead of them all.

We are Leicester.  These are the glory days.

How the hell did you cope through Pleat and Levein?

different levels of shit.

when we were shit in the old days it was still fun. we just had loads of rubbish players and it was quite funny watching them try and play football. these days we are capable of so much more and we are still just horrendously fu cking rubbish. it’s just shit.

i imagine fans of most other teams who’ve been mid table for 3 or 4 years feel the exact same.

i just want something worthwhile to happen, but it won’t. we’re too good to go down and too pathetic to ever beat anyone who’s better than us on paper. that’s why it’s so boring.

S'funny, I was just thinking about this the other day.  We are traditionally a yo yo club and now we are an established Premier League mid table team.  We used to dream of this, we've got the best squad we've had in living memory but are we any happier?  I would say not.

Are Chelsea fans happier than Rotheram fans?  Probably not.

Leaving aside the aesthetics of the football, I reckon we were happier as a promotion chasing team with dreams or a relegation threatened team trying to defy the odds.  When you reach your ceiling, where's left to go?

It seems counter-intuitive to be more miserable with greater success so I try to keep reminding myself who we are and what we have achieved.
