I honestly think with this money, should we sell Mahrez, we should put it towards putting a £100 million offer in for Gareth Bale. Think about it? He’s getting old, I we have the money to bid that amount and pay his wages.

Having been throughly pissed off with him for the past 18 months, I’m starting to get Mahrez anxiety now. I’m just worried we’re not going to adequately replace him, Gray and Diabate aren’t ready yet so we need to reinvest the money we get for him properly. None of this one for the future business, we already have enough of those. We need someone who can crack on immediately and strike up an understanding with Vardz early doors. Whether he leaves next week or next month it’s been a pleasure Riyad, I just wish you weren’t such a stroppy tart but then I guess all tortured geniuses are in some capacity.

I thing that you guys must begin to relativize his performances of the title-winning season. Even this year he was crap most of the time. His stats doesn't really show the impact he has on the team. 

 

He's more harmful for the team than anything else, focusing on his stats more than the club. How many times he scored when the pass was obviously the best option ? (Arsenal this season, his goal against Chelsea/Manchester City during the title season)

 

I'm 100% sure that a "Albrighton-like" in the right side would be incredible and more beneficial for the team. Riyad will be forgotten very quickly.

Mahrez is in double figures for goals and assists this season, and that's with him "disappearing" and being "crap". We're going to miss him, a lot.

 

Albrighton is overrated on here, he'll never reach the amount of assists and goals Mahrez gets for us. I don't want another "hardworking" winger, Mahrez is the reason I've spent the last three seasons on the edge of my seat.

I'm hoping we'll stick £40m on somebody good as a marquee replacement. Not really got my hopes up though given the current links are jack grealish and Patrick Roberts. Might be decent for promotion in 24 months I suppose.
