Factually wrong, and you can't even argue it's not.

Pearson kept us up in our first year and Puel has us in top 10. So, unless your goals are unrealistic ie finishing in the top 6, neither are failures in the PL regardless of your own opinions about them.

Ok then.

Ranieri won the PL and in so doing got us a CL spot.

As good as he was in building the club and structure Pearson finished 14th.

Puel is ****ing useless.

So the answer would be that Ranieri is by far the most successful manager in the club’s history while the other two pale in comparison in terms of results and achievement.

Why do wankers almost want to belittle the greatest time in our clubs history by suggesting Claude and Nige are anywhere near CR who won the league with a team bought for £20m!!

 ?

Im answer to the question none of them now; each ship has sailed.

Did you read the original post I quoted?

Pearson purely because the players don't seem to down tools/ get the hump quite as quickly with him as opposed to the others which is important longer-term.

Don't think any are right for us now in any case.

Let's move on from Pearson, been here twice and did a great job both times but as a club we've moved forward. Pearson is a bottom half manager, whose good at keeping teams in a division. In fact clubs like Stoke, Southampton, West Brom and maybe even Watford missed out on a character like Pearson. We need a manager whose ambitious, experienced, proven track record and won trophies fairly recently.

Possibly because Pearson actually bought the £20 million pound team in the first place. Fuchs and Okazaki both signed while Pearson was still manager, and Kante was a target we were bidding on before Pearson's doofus son got his Dad sacked. Ranieri will always be remembered as the title winning coach and a legend of the club, but Pearson did so much groundwork in bringing in all the right players and staff, and building up the right mentality in the squad. Ranieri had a superb foundation to build off of when he arrived at the club, most new managers walk into a total disaster area and have to start by ripping everything up and going back to basics, whereas Claudio was able to come into a squad which had all the right players and a superb team spirit and winning attitude, and instead of worrying about firefighting, was instead able to make use of all his years of tactical experience to fine tune the team into an unstoppable winning machine.

Some people seem to hate Pearson because he was rude to an angry moron in the crowd one time, and he was mean to some useless journalists. I couldn't care any less about that. He delivered year after year of constant progression over 2 spells, and took us from League 1 to the Premier League and kept us there, whilst transforming the shambolic nature of the club from the Mandaric and Sven eras into a professional, hard working team which went on to deliver the best ever achievement in the history of the club. Pearson has some shortcomings when it comes to the tactical side of the game, but when it comes to the strategic side of the game, signing players, man management and building a squad, he's top stuff.

As for people who actually played for him, this is what Bruno Berner said:

3. What do you think of Nigel Pearson and how would you define him and his coaching philosophy?

He’s special, in a positive way. He’s got extraordinary leadership qualities when it comes to football. His man-management is outstanding and ought to be exemplary for many managers, trainers and coaches. He is an honest, straightforward and proud man with clear principles. He respects everyone individually on the highest level, but with an emphasis on teamwork. Nigel leads by example - he lives the things he demands from his players. Nigel’s got a really big heart and knows how to lead. He is an exceptional human being and he’s got the best years in his career still ahead of him, that I am sure of.

Also I know someone who worked with sir Martin at Celtic and Leicester and they are still good friends. I asked him a few weeks ago about Martins feelings towards us and he said he would never come back .  Probably irrelevant info but don’t be betting on it

Edit: FYI it’s not because he doesn’t like us, he adores us. Just wouldn’t want to ruin the memories. Football is a different world to what it was back then.

Leicester fans are such idiots. Ranieri is the only one of the 3 that did anything near decent at this level.

The other 2 are failures in the Premier League. This isn’t the Championship.

This has to be a wind up surely?

I don't get it. Most of the players we seemingly have the most major issues with were signed or blooded by Pearson, so the logical next step is to bring in Pearson?

what about when Pearson was here and we didn't win from September (after the 5-3 Utd win) to December and January to April in the same season?

How concerned then and did he get more lee-way because he was a bit of a nutter in press conferences at times?

....Pearson has stated he did not believe that his promoted team could continue to play in the fashion that had taken them to the Championship title. He was wrong! He went back to the Championship style (admittedly switched to 3 at the back) and effected the greatest escape. The team had been playing with the handbrakes on, when we release these players from their shackles we are a fine team indeed!!!!

tbf, I'd still back him to revamp the squad even though he's signed most of them as you said, he phased out players like kennedy, howard, weale, gallagher etc whom he signed from his first spell so I don't think it'll be that big of an issue. No idea on whether he will be a right appointment going forward if he does come in the summer. Still love him though :pearson:

Need more choices than the three given. If I had to choose out of the three it would have to be Pearson (without his son) only because he would kick the players up the arse and most of these players are his.

Ranieri .tinkered with Pearson's squad and we did the unthinkable. The next season Ranieri started changing positions and playing players out of their position and comfort zone that is why we went on a bad run and he got the sack. Shaky put them back in their original position and we started winning. He then got the sack and now we have a joke of a Manager called Peul.

I dont mind NP coming back if it was a choice out of the three. We need a Manager who has the following -

1, Either Respect of the squad or can command respect

2, Proven Success in the Premiership

3, Able to Kick arse

NP hasn't point 2 but has 1 and 3,

Ranieri has point 2

and Peul has none

I think that Benitez has all three

If there was a choice between the list above, Gus Hiddink, Manual Pellegrini, Jurgen Klinnsman, Martin O'Neil or Rafa Benitez. I don't want a Manager who is brought in from outside of the UK AND never managed or played in the PL. I want a big name, I don't want to give a Manager a chance to make a name for themselves at LCFC. We are past that stage NOW or at least we should be. Let them make a name for themselves somewhere else and we can have them once they have done.

I don't see Man UTD, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea going for the likes of Sean Dyche or Mark Warburton. their fans and owners demand success and now that we have been spoilt by our PL win, We demand success too, or at least I do.

This is a galse dilema to bug up pearson.

It is priven that none if these is right.  Tge owners should not limit thensekces to a sekection of otevious managers.

This is not a proper example but OK

I would choose none of them, There is a reason why you threw you're wife out (the son). If you were given a choice and had to one wife out of three, you would pick the best one and kick your current one out as your current one is worse then the one you threw out.

And also if you decide to bring back your ex-wife, explain it firmly that she is not bringing her son back. (Not your son, not your problem especially when you give him a chance, a job and take him on holiday, he insults you and the news is on the national newspapers)

But there are plenty more fish in the sea... without disfuntional kids that throw up dilemas.    Sure, consider your ex wives. .. but not to the exclusion of all the other women of the world.

Hense this is a false dilema. .. imo posted to rally support of one of our exes
