Voll Blau Posted 3 August 2018 Author Posted 3 August 2018 Same slip cordon again. Saw it suggested last night the Cook, Malan and Jennings were in there purely based on the fact they won't bowl. That seems ridiculous to me? Anyway, hopefully they've had a little go on the catching cradle since yesterday....

This has been an absolutely wonderful test match. I always think the pitches make the difference, TBH I'd find it hard to watch test series on dead pitches.

Osavo Posted 3 August 2018 Posted 3 August 2018 Broad on one here. Bowling absolutely brilliantly. Crowd fired up. This is what test cricket is all about.

I really enjoyed reading this recent BBC article on him. Fair play to him for rededicating himself to the game and becoming fit as a fiddle. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/45009138

It's painful watching this knowing that the target isn't that high but we'll still make it difficult for ourselves.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 3 August 2018 Posted 3 August 2018 Curran nips out another wicket 63/4 but Kohli still in
Voll Blau Posted 3 August 2018 Author Posted 3 August 2018 Good thing Bairstow can catch. Imagine not thinking Test cricket is the very pinnacle of all world sport.
leicsmac Posted 3 August 2018 Posted 3 August 2018 Fantastic stuff. Need to nail the star along with the supporting cast, though.
Guest MattP Posted 3 August 2018 Posted 3 August 2018 Whatever happens what a test match, nothing comes close to stuff like this. Might be worth going tomorrow for £26.

Corky Posted 3 August 2018 Posted 3 August 2018 Tremendous match. Test cricket really is superb when it's like this.
StanSP Posted 4 August 2018 Posted 4 August 2018 I've got a feeling Kohli gets out early today and then the game is done by lunch time
