This shows that a game with 4 goals in it isn't necessarily more entertaining than a  0-0 draw.

5-0 lol Russia did well really. Do think it was as much down to how bad Saudi Arabia were but Russia scored some really decent goals there.

One of the fundamental problems of the World Cup groups. Some of these teams will just not provide any opposition.

Saudi were frankly, rubbish and the event, football wise, was a non event.

But they qualified from their confederation fair and square though. Unless we're going to start deciding who the top 32 teams are by opinion and doing away with qualification then this is the best way to put together a tournament. I mean we already sort of do that by the quite frankly ridiculous potential 5 from 10 in South American whilst Africa and Asia get 4/5 each out of God knows how many teams. Do you want to rob Asia of another spot? It won't be the world cup any more it'll be Europe v South America. Some shit will qualify, but they earned the right to represent their country on the greatest stage on earth, why should we deny them that (went a bit Cool Runnings there).
