We looked excellent at set pieces, organized and always looked like we'd create something.

What happens if it's a draw vs Belgium and our goal difference is exactly the same?

The problem with the team is that the English media follow it, who aren't known for fully-supporting the team and particularly question them when a performance or two is poor.

Would advise the players to steer well clear from social media, news outlets etc for the remainder of the tournament and focus on trying to keep up the good work - especially when they've, perhaps, impressed even those that had doubts on them.

I wasn't all that impressed to be honest. 6-1 is a great result but we weren't tested at all.  I have concerns about how we'll cope with a team that actually want to play football, which won't happen against Belguim as that game is now a glorified friendly.

The 6 that we scored masks the fact that I can only remember two shots on goal from open play (Loftus-Cheek's deflection and Lingard) and not many other chances.

We look good at set pieces against somewhat shoddy defending but be under no illusion, I would expect a half decent team to batter us.  I hope I'm wrong.

Great day yesterday but always knew today was going to be painful lol oh well.

I was actually impressed on the whole,  although I think we could be more difficult should we come up against someone who can actually defend set pieces properly without committing ABH on Harry Kane.

Not sure Belgium will be that a bigger game really benchmark wise, from what I've seen Lukaku and Hazard are going to be rotated for sure with other changes rumored.

Congratulations to @The Doctor on this trawler full of Pilchards, top fishing.

Its taken me 3 Harry Kane goals to get used to the idea of being happy when he scores and from that 3rd goal onwards I was loving it

Lingard scoring a worldy aswell has endeared me to that little bugger

Finally feeling i can get behind the lads with all my heart

Come end of the world cup and the start of domestic football I look forward to this mask of good will falling and I can get back to the hatred

But for now, He's One of Our Own!

Bar the celebration in front of the kop which tbf was not exactly when the random Kane hate started I really don't get the Anti Kane thing.

He was on loan here, he wasn't very good as he was a spindly little teenager being played out of position, the end, move on. Seems to be a fairly grounded bloke.

It's a little harder to stand up for Lindgard and his silly secret hand shakes I have to admit.

Don’t think it helps that he plays for Spurs and I just find him a bit too self focused. Seems to go on about his own personal goals and records than his teams.

When he sticks an england shirt on I’ll back him though

There wasn’t any open play. We had a free kick every 30 seconds

Oh, was he actually fishing? I genuinely thought he was being a jealous spoilt child, type character?

If instead of Loftus-Cheek hitting it against Kane to go in it was Kane hitting it against Panama defender to go in, would it have counted as an own goal or still the strikers goal? Not trolling, genuine question.

Depends if Kane swears on his daughters life in the post match interview.
