Given that Vardy went into the support striker role I think they were clearly trying to get Sterling a goal. Didn't get close after 70 mins or so though.

England score six at a world cup, surely that can't be right! Good first half against a really poor Panama side. Very dominant first half and deserved our five nil lead at the break, sadly i dunno I was disappointed with our second half display, felt a little peed that really didn't offer anything, the second half seemed like the team decided to declare at six nil. For me you carry on and send a clear message to your rivals. Pickford I think will be disappointed with his display made a meal of the simplest tasks, will he play against Belgium?  Of course without me moaning too much what a display from both Lingard and Kane terrific from the pair of them and not forgetting Stones.

Now the real tests will begin. I’m happy with Trippier but not so Walker and Rose. Hendo looks good but not convinced by Loftus-cheek, Dele Alli (prefer Lingard) and Sterling is missing really. I’d prefer Rashford if fit or Jaime but we all know that Southgate will not pick him! 

Im not convinced by the back 5 to be honest I think we’re wasting a player there with 3 CBs. No doubt Hazard as a 10 will find us out.

That was good. Harry Kane is a god. Great seeing players like Lingard, Henderson and Stones who I’ve written off plenty of times playing so well too. All credit to Southgate, I’ve  got a lot of love for this team.

Sterling has had two games now to prove himself and failed I'm afraid, with a chance to test things. I'd definitely look to drop Sterling ahead of Belgium. Lets have front two of Vardy and Kane with Lingard behind and Delph brought into midfield alongside Henderson.
