If it is just a squad player I’ll be really fu*king annoyed to be honest. We always seem to be strenthing the squad but not the starting 11. Every singing should be with the aim to improve the starting 11 or at least push the starting 11, not just add to the ranks for more depth.

Would of preferred Patrick Roberts over this.

Whilst you may scoff and his stats obviously don't stand out a mile. Considering he only played 1000 minutes of football it's not a bad return.

 

Lemar only got two goals and 8 assist in more than double the minutes.  Moutinho 1 goals and 6 assists in almost three times the minutes.

 

Having watched his Monaco highlights reel, the lad had clearly got something about and and was creating a lot of fluffed chances.

 

Clearly there are some big flashing warning signs there with him. But there is without question some natural ability in there.

I for one will always give a new signing a chance. How the Fuch based on a bit of opinion and maybe a YouTube video can people decide if a player is good or not. Never mind the players downtooling in the past, some of the fans on here seem to have given up before a ball has been kicked. Totally pathetic.

Abso fvcking lutely my friend. Buy better than our first 11 and by default the squad gets strengthened. Its a slight over simplification but should be the recruiting teams mantra if we want to progress as a club.

I do wonder why Monaco would be happy to get rid for a low amount after one season, they are not on poor financial footing are they?

So the only logical conclusion for me, is they don’t rate him.

Because they have better players. They aren't exactly a bad team are they! They love cashing in, if they can make a quick profit on someone they don't need they will, doesn't mean he's dog dirt. 

 

His assits per minute ratio ratio is better than Hazzard and the goals aren't far off from what I saw (need to double check) ... yet the latter wouldn't get the same abuse.

I remember a certain Mark Hughes saying he was surprised when we loaned Robert Huth from Stoke. He thought his likely destination would be the Championship. 18 months later he was lifting the title in the Premier League. 

My point is that players go through good and bad spells. A decent environment and you never know. I can only think he is coming to start with Albrighton/Diabate off to the bench.

Might be an unpopular opinion but i dont see the big deal with hazard.  Not that im excited with this transfer. Lol

Not being funny but I understand arms frustration. He like most fans have a right to be annoyed and feel let down by the club. They have just sold the club's most technically gifted player in the history of the football club and the best they have got is those geezer who will not beat diabate or gray in the starting line up.

I do understand that you will only sign class players if you play attractive football and maybe our targets have looked at CP style of play and decided to avoid.

I don't beleave for one second we are not a attractive club to play for not only that we pay great wages aswel.

We started the transfer window so well and I believe we were ahead of the races but look like one of the weaker teams in the premier now.
