I've not seen much of either of them, looking at that alone would Hazzard be worth 5/6 times the amount? Hazzard seems to be on an upwards curve though statistically season on season.

If we sign him i can see him being an okay player and of course i hope he would rip it up but so far doesnt seem like he has and we want to be pushing on with better replacements for mahrez. I recognize we cant buy another mahrez but we can do better than this surely? Of course i will eat my own words if this guy somehow becomes mahrez like but thats unlikely. If we sign him i will support him either way. 1

He's a cheap, squad filler by the sounds of it. It's more the worry that this might be the only winger/creative player coming in this window, when there are a number of far superior options out there. This isn't a sign of a team that is pushing for top 6, with signings like this IMO. That's the disappointment. Of course, he may turn out to be awesome for us and the player we badly need on the right, but on paper and at his age, as well as what fans say etc - the odds are against this. Not sure why people aren't allowed to base an initial opinion on a signing due to their history and stats. Would be a very quiet transfer forum if we all stopped giving initial opinions, good OR bad. 1

There's a good player in there, but he's far from the finished article. 2

Combined with his natural talent and our talent coaches, he’s now a £60 million player. The opinion has changed somewhat. You can see from the video, this guy has natural talent and in Puel a manger who knows his strengths and weaknesses. If we coach him right and he applies himself, we may have a player on our hands. The finished article is never never going to be a target of ours. I back Puel’s judgement on players. He has proven that before.

Most have never seen our new signings play but as long as we pay £20m+ for them they are straight in the 1st team
