I've decided to start following Leicester City and would like to be filled in on the current team, club history, chants, and anything else you all think I should know. Also, if someone could clear this ignorant Yank up about how Leicester is pronounced, that would be much appreciated.

Do you like curry? Because I could recommend somewhere excellent for a pre match meal and pint if you ever come over to see us?.......

Don’t worry, that was a nightmare everyone else had that season.

Collective mental erasure. It couldn’t happen, shouldn’t happen, didn’t happen if we wish hard enough - but always the nagging truth, those bin dipping bastards. I love it.

That should just about give you some insight into what our club is about. If you enjoy the read feel free to join our wonderful group of supporters, if not then maybe Man City, United, or Chelsea could be more appealing, or if you prefer a steady eddie approach maybe Everton.

There's never a dull moment around these parts, but be rest assured that no matter how well the team is performing you can guarantee that they'll always be at least one negative poster on this forum.

Welcome to FoxesTalk and enjoy the ride!

1. We hate Nottingham Forest!!

2. We’re now miles ahead of them as a club.

3. They pretend not to care about us because of the above.

Here endeth the lesson.

I noticed a lot of familiar town names the time I was there in Mass.

I was just making the John Henry connection. Liverpool have enough fans already anyway ;)

A lot of the towns have English namesakes - goes back to the days when we were a colony. For what it's worth, I'm  a life long Red Sox fan and can't stand John Henry.  Yes he ended their 86 year championship drought - and he deserves credit for that - but he's also destroyed the soul of the team and everything that made them fun to watch. They act like Man City overspending for any player they want - and in the process have brought some real jerks to town the past several years. He's taken the fun out of following the team.  As a result, Liverpool is my most despised EPL club...lol

Claude Puel is the right man to lead Leicester City

We're going to get a Europa league place

Ghezzal is brilliant

We're playing 10 at the back

Mahrez was a mardy, inconsistant sod.

Lee Cattermole is colcityfan's favourite player

Ahmed Musa was a total waste of time and money

Spurs are pitiful/never 1st/a waste of a new stadium  All of the Above

FIF thinks we'll finish 7th Is he a bot

If Puel loses his job who should take over Alex Ferguson

If we win the league this season what statue should be erected Michael Jackson

Who is the worst scumbag we have ever had the misfortune of employing Dennis Wise

I'll agree with you up to a certain point. There were certainly some terrible moves in recent history, (e.g. Hanley Ramírez and Pablo Sandoval) but this year's team has been arguably the most fun to watch since '04. He's definitely spent a lot, but almost all of the key players have been developed through the farm system (e.g. Killer B's, Holt, E-Rod) or acquired in trades for players developed through that system (e.g. Sale, Kimbrel, Porcello, etc.). The only players on the team right now who were signed as major-league free agents are Moreland, Martínez, and Price.
