Some of our players look decent on the ball at times but it is taking way, way to long to push players forward and that is a tactical flaw.

 

It is predictable that you will struggle to create chances without a striker as your focal point. There is never enough players running off the man with the ball and there is nobody threatening to go toe to toe physically with their defenders.

We've actually looked better since we've dropped a bit.

 

This is a squad in progression really. 

 

We're still missing one or two pieces.

 

DG isn't a forward, he looks a bit like when England played Sterling up top at the world cup.

Why? Albrighton and Ghezzal have been our best 2 attacking threats and the 2 players who look likely to make something happen.

 

I'd take Gray off over messing around with our wingers, they definitely aren't the issue right now.

Agree, we seem to pass it through 2/3 players when playing the ball directly to the wing would be quicker.

Mendy is class! His constant movement and wanting the ball, is a joy to watch. What a player he is turning out to be. Silva will struggle to get a game again!
