Typical england to score possibly the greatest goal of all time and for it to be referred to VAR.

VAR is no annoying and frustrating but equally annoying and frustrating for both sides I suppose

That was such a great move. Started on our own goal line ffs.l:chant:

did they not check the one handball claim there? the long range effort that john stones saved was surely the bigger handball claim?

I'm all for this VAR lark but that took way too long to make a simple handball call, the offside was much tighter so fair enough that they took so long on that one but the handball barely needed a second look.

The line they draw for offside should be thicker ..... then you have a margin of error of an inch which seems reasonable given the point at which the ball is players can’t be freeze framed accurately

I was all for technology to help refs out, but now it's here I don't like it.

Maybe it's just teething troubles and it will sort itself out over time, but atm it's poo

VAR goes for and against England in tbe matter of seconds - both decisions probably correct in all fairness .

Took quite a while for a clear cut decision though .
