KingsX Posted 6 June 2019 Posted 6 June 2019 Southgate really rates Ben as an attacker ... impressive how much of the ball he is seeing and how far upfield he is playing.
Carl the Llama Posted 6 June 2019 Posted 6 June 2019 Makes me nervous when a team does a back-pass towards the goal, at least aim it a bit wide in case the keeper has a mare.
Nalis Posted 6 June 2019 Author Posted 6 June 2019 Get used to 3pm kick offs finishing well after 5pm next season.
trabuch Posted 6 June 2019 Posted 6 June 2019 Kane is the new Rooney. Lombard and Rashford would have been better
fazzyfox Posted 6 June 2019 Posted 6 June 2019 I notice the added 7 mins, if there are a couple of VAR reviews per half should we get used to 7 or 8 mins over the typical 3 or 4 we get now?

spacemunky Posted 6 June 2019 Posted 6 June 2019 The good thing is that when the ball falls to any of the Dutch forwards, there's a zero chance they'll score.
Carl the Llama Posted 6 June 2019 Posted 6 June 2019 Gotta say I fancy our chances in ET if we can keep this fluidity up.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 6 June 2019 Posted 6 June 2019 More of that , much better unlucky with the offside

Took quite a while for a clear cut decision though . Why did it go for England? The ref didn’t give a pen ??.
fazzyfox Posted 6 June 2019 Posted 6 June 2019 If we wanted to bring on a CF just to win headers couldn't we have dug out Crouchys phone number instead of Kane electing to stretcher himself onto the pitch unfit (I'm doing this in the hope of inevitable banter when he scores the winner)
whoareyaaa Posted 6 June 2019 Posted 6 June 2019 Don't mind watching another half hour of that decent game
RowlattsFox Posted 6 June 2019 Posted 6 June 2019 Southgate showing limitations again whilst we were ahead. Midfield needed changing way before he did. Pretty shit overall but had chances, the Sancho miss crucial. Going to lose on pens.

I played GK and defender in my (glittering) Sunday League career and I was always pass it back to the side of each goal in case it goes under the keeper's foot or it takes a bobble.
Carl the Llama Posted 6 June 2019 Posted 6 June 2019 Is it harsh to suggest our better passages of play all seem to surpass Kane?

yorkie1999 Posted 6 June 2019 Posted 6 June 2019 Holland are a good side and 1-1 after 90 mins is a good result so far

Mike Oxlong Posted 6 June 2019 Posted 6 June 2019 The Dutch are technically superior but we are going in the right direction. Not too long ago that it was usually like toothache watching England
